I tried out the other sprite sheet you considered. I think it looks pretty good. It may not loop here, but it does in Game Maker's sprite editor. EDIT: machriderz.deviantart.com/gallery/31545085Just go there to see progress. Click on them.

Although that spritesheet is really good, the only perceivable problem is this. So they might yell at us if we use it.

To be honest, I don't see a huge problem, cause they aren't using that R.O.B. anymore and that forum has been dead for awhile.

Awesome. If we do 3 to 5 or 6 animations a day, ROB will be finished in no time. In fact, he'll be finished long before he needs to.

Alright, I started working on DMX's spritesheet. I'm about halfway through the F-Smash, but I spent 15 minutes getting snapshots of key points in each attack. Doc, if you need the references, just ask me. Also, if you could make sprites of R.O.B.'s head aiming up and down, that would be great (kinda need them for F-Tilt, F-Smash, N-Special, in-air, crouch, D-tilt, etc). Btw, a couple things on your sprites: The idle goes WAY too fast. If we're keeping his attacks the same, one of us is gonna have to redo the Jab and Dash Attack. EDIT: How's it look? EDIT AGAIN: I added an extra cooldown frame without the smoke since it looked like it needed it.

In that animation... his "bottom" or whatever it is called doesn't stay in place.

I use Game Maker 7 Pro's Sprite Editor. I made Down Smash btw. Instead of uploading bunches of individual things, I'm going to upload a few at a time.

Working on F-Smash angled upwards and downwards. They should both be up within an hour or two. After that will probably be N-Special. I'm thinking it'll only be three angles, which may be a bit problematic for his gameplay...
