Crusade is one of my favorite cpu games, but the most confusing to download. I try downloading the .exe file, which lead me to a nakido or something site, download it, and i get a Crusade 0.7 (1) (7 (1) was the extensions), then i download the patch but when i start the patch its says MODGIFSIMPLES.dll is not found (or something like that)
If someone could make a tutorial with screen shots, it would help.... ALOT. thank you, and i hope this gets respond soon

When you download the first file, you double-click it and it self-extracts itself. When it's finished, there should be a load of folders and little files, as well as an EXE. THEN you download the patch, put it in the same folder as the EXE, and then run it instead of the included EXE.

www.7-zip.org/ Get 7-zip. You probably tried to use an extraction wizard, but that just won't work. This particular file is meant to be extracted using 7-zip. (get the one that says ".exe")
