You know what irks me the most? When people tell me to calm down when I AM being calm! It just does the opposite!

And I say devs shouldn't vote, because this poll gives them an idea about what the fans really want. Their votes could change the outcome. Especially when they only like one character.

Gonna post results tobump this topic see the outcome so far....
1. Zoroark(10). Nothing surprising at all.
2. Isaac(8). Also not surprising.
3. Ancient Minister/Phoenix Wright(7). Not surprising either.
4. Nightmare/Gray Fox(6). Seems a bit right.(took off one vote from Nightmare because it's to show what WE want, not what DMX wants)
5. Deoxys/Mike Haggar(4). Somewhat surprised at these amounts.
6. Duck Hunt Dog(2). This is probably due to his late entry....(I only counted SK and Golden, because red was quoting golden, not SK)

Any comments on this?

I dunno why Gray Fox is not so popular. He's lightning fast, he has a slick sword and he's a bloody cyborg-ninja. Maybe people haven't played the Metal Gear series that much?

I voted the two Pokemon, Isaac and a couple others. Most of them would make good smash characters.

I voted for Petey Piranha and Gray Fox.

Petey - because he's an underrated character yet a prominent boss in the Mario series, along with King Boo, and would be a blast to play as (how about the vomit from Sunshine?). As for the people who preach "too many Mario characters! bawww!", have you not realized that the game has about 80+ characters planned? It's natural that they are including some familiar faces such as Waluigi, Toad and Rosalina.

Gray Fox - Well, if we're going to have multiple Sega, Capcom, etc. reps, then it's only fair we include another broski from Konami, and aside from the plethora of possible Castlevania characters, an old friend from Metal Gear seems to fit the puzzle. He'd be a unique addition for sure, and his moveset would probably be as varied as Snake's. It would be a good diversion from some of the boring characters we see now (Gooey? Ristar? Seriously?)

As for the others (predictable dot dot dot)
Ancient Minister - No. It had an odd role in SSBB, it turned out to be ROB and one would have to be exceptionally creative to give it a moveset.

Zoroark - I don't particularly want him in, but he seems like a fan favorite and has a high chance of inclusion. To me, he's just another Mewtwo descendant.

Isaac - Sure! He seems like a valuable addition.

Deoxys - Should remain a Poke Ball summon.

Haggar - Oh joy, another Capcom character, and this time from a fighting game. We haven't seen this multiple times before.

Phoenix Left - ...Um, how would this work? Side special, HOLD IT! Up special, TAKE THAT! Final smash, GOTCHA!

Nightmare - Of all other possible SC characters that shouldn't make it in anyway, why this beast? His sword's too disproportionate for an SSB game.

You really are hopeless.

1. We are aware that there's 80 characters. We've been here longer than you.
2. Adding to that, we KNOW more than you. We know for a fact that MORE Mario characters are on their way. Petey Piranha would be too much.
3. There is no "Mewtwo descendant". I'd say more on that, but I have to show this all the time to the ignorant that I should get paid for it. And how would Zoroark be ANYTHING like Mewtwo?
4. Haggar is from a beat 'em up, not a fighter. Research plz.
5. What would R.O.B. do? Move blocks and tops while moving very slow? Oh wait...
The point is, there is already a spritesheet with a moveset for him.
6. Soul Edge is workable. I mean, we got Ridley.
