Hi. I just Have One Little Question About SSBC 0.7, When you start up the game and it says its recommended that i should use a USB controller. how do i do that? Just so you know, i want to use my PS3 controller, Please Help?  |

Plug it in to the usb port and use X-Padder or Joy2key (I think that's what it is) to set up your controller then go to the control set up in SSBC's options to change the controls to your liking.

Joy2Key is free to download, X-Padder costs money. I use Joy2Key, it works perfectly fine.

Its because PS3 controllers are tricky to use. Get DS3 Manager and Xpadder. Those will be your friends. If you need a tut PM me.

I tried using Xpadder and it has always worked for me in the past, but with this game, the game WILL NOT respond to my input despite the fact that I have the buttons mapped to keys on my keyboard.
Is there supposed to be some specific way to set up my controller for this game, because if this game is going to prohibit me from using a controller, then what was the point of it telling me that I should use a controller?

I have to say I have the same problem. I have mapped out all of the buttons correctly, in fact I can even operate my computer with my controller at this point, and even then every time I double click the SSBC game the controls are unresponsive.

I tried whit Xpadder and it works for me, what you have to do is put the Xpadder window active and on the background the SSB game
