DMX gave this to me a while ago (before we changed forums). I figured since that more people are helping with character sprites I should post it.

New thing: THE EDGE CLIMB IS NOT A HANG. EDGE CLIMB IS CLIMBING THE LEDGE, EDGE ROLL IS A ROLLING RECOVERY OF THE LEDGE.

spriting is the same as drawing, IMO.

you have to be good at one to be good at the other.
