Just like how I remembered Squirtle. Great.

Just one thing though. I don't know if this is a problem, so Im just throwing it out there-

The flashing and star thingie on the smashes isn't on any of the other characters, so it may seem out of place. Maybe you should get rid of them. If any other devs object, then listen to them. I just think it seems out of place.

It's funny, since back then I didn't know I didn't even need it for EF in the first place. If there are objections, sure, I'll take it out of the smashes.

EDIT: I took it out anyway. Everything's done except the Neutral and Up Specials, and the Final Smash.
