Let me give you some advice; No one wants Sora. PERIOD. Also, he isn't owned by SE, he's owned by DISNEY. Yeah, DISNEY. If ANY Disney character were to be chosen it'd be none other than Mickey Mouse (perhaps his Epic Mickey version).
There are plenty of better SE choices like Black Mage (who appeared in two Mario Sports titles), Slime (who appeared in Mario Sports Mix, and crossed over with Mario twice in the Fortune Street/Idataki Street series), and Warrior of Light (From the first FF, which was also on the NES). Hell, even a Chocobo would be better suited, being the mascot for FF and all.

Also boo on Krystal, yadda yadda yadda.

Boo on Micaiah. She is NOT deserving. She was in one game, and she was overshadowed by Ike, who's already in Smash.

Also, Kat & Ana may be ninja, but they aren't the only characters with fighting potential (Young Cricket aside). We have Mona, who's games are usually in the Strange category, so she'd have a crazy style of fighting. We have Jimmy T., who would have a dancing style of fighting (which we don't have). We have Ashley, who would use witchcraft and spell fighting (which you have covered with Kamek). We have Orbulon, who could have stereotypical Alien abilities and weapons.
And besdies, Kat & Ana would take away from the Ice Climbers' uniqueness of being two characters controlled as one.

Other than that, it's good. No grade because there is no arranged placement.

It just seems wierd to have Jimmy or Mona fighting, but I guess that won't stop Nintendo, now will it? Also, it isn't the same thing as Ice Climbers. They switch off really quickly (Probably with a taunt or some such thing) with different fighting styles, so a skilled player could rack up crazy powerful skilled combos with them. But I see what you mean. I still think it's better than Baby Mario Bros.

Other than that, it's good. No grade because there is no arranged placement.

Overall, I think KNOW that Sora is out, so I'll either go back to Geno or find another 3rd party character. Stingy Disney Copyright laws.

And mind you, a director for Kingdom Hearts worked for the music production of SSBB. So it's not too farfetch'd. Only being owned by Disney.

Except they could have attacks that are different to form a combo, not just the same moves. Uh. Like Banjo-Kazooie. They wouldn't fight walking alongside each other with the same moves. They would have different moves as a duo for each. But they could possibly have the same moves.

Advice to Dr Slavic: Don't bring back Geno. Geno has no placement in Smash due to his one time appearance (excluding cameo in M&L: PiT), and overall lack of importance to the Mario series, Nintendo, and even Square-Enix, who own him. Geno's best shot would've been in Mario Hoops and Mario Sports Mix, as those titles were worked on by SE and feature FF characters (Both) and Slime (Sports Mix only). The fact he wasn't in those signify his lack of importance to both companies.
Best bets:
1. Black Mage-One of the most popular choices for a SE rep, and was in both Hoops and Sports Mix.
2. Slime-Dragon Quest is one of the largest RPGs in Japan, and has closer ties to Nintendo than Final Fantasy. Slime is featured in Sports Mix, and DQ characters are featured in Idataki Street DS and Fortune Street for the Wii. Slime also serves as the mascot for DQ, as Pikachu is the mascot for Pokemon. The only downside to Slime is his lack of limbs, which doesn't hurt his potential, but hurts his chances due to Sakurai's "qualifications" for a character.
3. Warrior of Light-The main character in the first FF (which was for NES), and has been featured in the Dissidia titles.

If it were up to me, I'd go with Warrior of Light. We've seen him in a fighting game before, and can take attacks from that. (Including potential Final Smash: Class Change. Like Bowser and Wario, Warrior of Light transforms to a stronger form for his FS. He changes into the Knight class (And is now "Knight of Light"), and gets stronger moves while invincible. This is temporary, though.)

As for the Micaiah issue, if you want a recent FE character, you'd technically have to look into Marth's games, as they got remakes released after Ike's games. Not only that, but there's still Roy, who has worldwide support for him to return. (Although, because you don't have Mewtwo, having Roy would make for arguments). So your best bet is to either don't add a new FE character (and remove Claus as well, because Mother should never have more than FE), or add someone from Marth's games, like Medeus, ugh...Caeda, or even the "My Unit". "My Unit" played a big role in Marth's game and even *SPOILERS* betrayed him. *END SPOILERS* You'd probably have to get it named, though. Chris is the default name.

Noooooooooo!!!! Not MyUnit!!!!!!!! ;_________; That would be weird!!!!... Except that Nintendo DID use Ness, Lucas, Pokemon Trainer, etc. and they're all nameless generics. But anyways, if not Micaiah, then probably Caeda/Shiida, interesting concept of a fighter, a Pegasus Knight.

As for Roy, he was already removed, which takes a bit of deservability away. I wouldn't hold it against him, but I always preferred Marth to Roy. *Ahem* Hector could be interesting, using axes. Hack around with a great axe, and he could throw Hand Axes. Thoughts?

I didn't TELL you to do Warrior of Light. . I merely said that that's the route I would take.

And for roster image. I see you went by Columns (like in Brawl) instead of Rows. I will grade as such.

1. Mario Column: Solid choices, but the placement of Bowser and Jr. irk me. 10/10.

2. Mario Related (sans Wario) Column: More solid choices, but it just feels awkward to call it a "Mario Related column" when Wario is not present. 8/10.

3. "Wario's Rapetime" Column (Named after the creepy scene in Brawl where Wario slowly creeps up to Lucas after Ness is a trophy.): Placement is just too awkward to me. Other than that, I do not feel Mother needs a 3rd character. Also, Ness and Lucas should be switched. 7/10.

4. Zelda Column: Again, solid choices. 10/10.

5. Space Column: Solid choices, not who'd I'd pick in the case of Goroh and Saki, but still good nontheless. 10/10.

6. StarFox + Guest Column: Fox? Check. Falco? Check. Krystal? Che-*record skips* KRYSTAL?! I know you haven't heard my problems with Krystal, so let's go with GoldenYuiitusin's Reasons Why Krystal Should NOT Be In SSB4:

a. She is associated with the decline of StarFox.
What does this mean? Well let's see. She started off as the star of her own series, which isn't bad, in fact, it's good. Then what happens? IT'S TURNED INTO A STARFOX TITLE FOR NO REASON. Dinosaur Planet is scrapped, and instead we get StarFox Adventures. Krystal was changed from a courageous cat protagonist to a damsel in distress vixen that's mostly eye-candy (and more if you are a furry). There was no problems with Assault, so I won't go there, but then came Command. Her character was made into such a b****y drama queen, and was a source for most of the drama within the game (a part that was HATED by StarFox fandom). In itself, Command is hated for it's story, that it is even made non-canon by the StarFox developers.

b. Her lack of importance.
As I said before, she was a damsel-in-distress, and a drama queen. Now, we get to Assault. What was her big role in the story? Nothing. All she does is replace Peppy on the aircraft missions, and is just....THERE. Falco is still being Falco, and Slippy still helps you out by showing you the bosses' life meters. Hell, even PEPPY does more than her, and he's not even in an Arwing anymore! (Storywise, Peppy "sacrifices" himself to save General Pepper. Needless to say, he survived.) Krystal's only major role, is multiplayer mode. Where you can be ALL of the pilots, Peppy, and even WOLF.

c. Potential to be a clone.
Now, I know what you're thinking; Krystal has a staff, she won't be a clone! WRONG. For one, the staff was only used in one game, which wasn't meant to be a StarFox title in the first place. Another thing; FOX was the one that used it, not Krystal. Yes, other characters borrow from others in Smash, and yes, it was originally Krystal's staff, however, it is VERY unlikely that it is going to be used. I mean, look at Ganondorf. He doesn't use his sword. Krystal is VERY likely to be made into another semi-clone of Fox, and if that were the case, why not have someone like Slippy, Peppy, or Leon?

d. Her "popularity".
In all honesty, Krystal has limited popularity. Japan likes Slippy, Peppy, Leon, and Panther more. And most of her popularity in America is just because she has something that other SF character's don't. A v*****. Oh, and being a blue space chick with breasts, which predates the characters in James Cameron's Avatar.

e. The Most Important Reason of All: StarFox does not need any more characters. Metroid is a bigger series than StarFox, and should have more or equal characters. Donkey Kong is Nintendo's 4th biggest series, and should have more than StarFox easily. Fox, Falco, and Wolf are ENOUGH. I mean, we got the leader of the team (Fox), the ace pilot (Falco), and the rival (Wolf). The next biggest thing I can see is the mechanic (Slippy), but even HE would be 1 SF character too many.


Now, aside from that, I'm irked that Krystal is before Wolf, and I don't understand the placement of Isaac with the SF crew. 5/10.

7. Pokemon Column: Solid choices. Lack of Mewtwo irks me, but at least you have Lucario and Zoroark, and NOT Meowth. 10/10.

8. Kirby and Enemy Column: Solid choices, but Waddle Dee needs his Bandana. Starfy is also not very likely due to Sakurai's disliking to him, but whatever: 9/10.

9. Misc. Column: Solid, if not confusing placement for choices. I feel Olimar and Isaac should be switched to make more sense. 10/10.

10. Retro Column Despite Little Mac Not Being Retro Anymore: Aside form Mac not being a Retro character anymore, 8/10.

11. 3rd Party Column: All choices I agree with. 10/10.

Total, out of 110: 97/110
Revised total (to make 100): 87/110.

1) My roster is so awkwardly designed. Though you made my day with 'Wario Rapetime'. XD

2) I have Krystal on because (from what I have seen except you) everyone has wanted her in. If I HAD to pick another choice, I would go for Leon, because he is the anti-Falco. Plus he would have a chance to be different than the others. (Though it's Nintendo. What do you think?)

3) Even with the release of Punch Out Wii, Little Mac is still a classic character. It's not like they made this new game in the same way they're doing Uprising. The Punch Out series doesn't add new things like other series do. It's not like they add weapons or power-ups. In fact, all they added were new graphics and a few new opponents. Well, and Giga-Mac. Punch Out is still Punch Out, it's supposed to play like Punch Out for the N.E.S., not bring entirely new things like the Super Mario Series. [/end_"rant"]

4) Regarding something I've been thinking about, I might remove Kamek and switch Warrior of Light for Black Mage. Honestly, Black Mage is more representative, a better sorcerer than Kamek, already has ties with Nintendo and is pretty awesome overall. As such, I can replace Kamek with Paper Mario, possibly. Plus, he's not a sword user. I like the Warrior of Light, but Black Mage would be cicdfuvbsfkbiusnliutv *Head explodes*

I did, I think. I definitely saved the individual tiles as .png images. Just checked, definitely saved it as a .png. Though I had to shrink it. Might have accidentally converted it to jpeg for Photobucket. Ohh well. No harm done.

And now I'm changing the roster once more. I am replacing Hector with Hardin. He's still a heavy character, a deep villain, and he serves as an archtype, other villains being based off of him. Plus, he's awesome. With his lance of doom.

Ehhh, Hardin still seems to stick out as another Fire Emblem character. Either him or Matthew. Hardin has been in a bunch of games, as well as the lack of a need for another Marth game protagonist. Hardin seems way more deserving as an antagonist then Medeus to me.

When people think antagonist from Fire Emblem, they think of Medeus more. (or Ashnard, because of his Brawl trophy).

When people think of 3rd FE character for SSB4, they think Roy, Caeda, Black Knight, Micaiah, or Hector. Hector is fine.
