We won't take out Sub-Zero. He's been on the roster since it was first made (way back). Mortal Kombat represents traditional fighting games just as well as (and sometimes even better than) Street Fighter does. Sub-Zero has always been an icon (he is the most popular- no lie) and he has a unique ice ability, which is only used by Ice Climbers, but the two characters are so different.

So let me get this straight. 1. SZ not only has more than one FS, but they all are OHKOs? Fatality means death. Why not make it a Brutality instead? Or something original or special, like Crusadeality or Smashality? 2. SZ causes blood when he hits. This would be fine, as long as it isn't excessive or gory. (impact causes blood to flash off the opponent like sweat) What about R.O.B.? Will you change it to oil? And Gengar? Shadow Bugs off of G&W? 3. Represents fighting games. Yawn. IMO Ryu and Chun do that well enough. Seeing fighting game series characters here bore me; I've already seen their tricks. And seeing you got another one planned from a series no one cares about is meh. What's next? Virtua Fight? Bloody Roar? Clayfighter? Honestly, the only reason I can deal with Subby is that he is an ice based character, and I can use him to EFF up Krystal and Geno for my amusement. >

I always thought Scorpion was the more popular one. After all, he is usually presented as the leading mascot for the series over the years. Plus, his "get over here!!!" quote has become a classic quote in the gaming world.

Mortal Kombat has been more popular than Street Fighter since its release, even if it is only more popular by the slightest bit. You can't represent fighting games with just Street Fighter.
Sub-Zero's Final Smash will not be a one-hit KO move. Why would we change the name of the Fatality if that would only be taking away from his nostalgia?
Chun-Li doesn't represent much, IMO. Ryu represents half of the fighting genre. Sub-Zero would take the rest.
Since you asked, I think if we were to have a character from another fighting game, it would be Scorpion. Honestly, the two MK ninjas are more easily recognizable than Ryu.
The blood wouldn't change, at least I don't think. It adds to the feeling that Sub-Zero is from Mortal Kombat. The MK series has always had a unique style of gameplay (much more unique than Street Fighter by any means) and Sub-Zero's character can really show that. In fact, we have a Mortal Kombat stage planned due to the uniqueness of the stage.
I believe Sub-Zero has appeared in more games than Scorpion, starting with Mortal Kombat 3.

If Mortal Kombat is more popular than Street Fighter, why have two street fighter reps and only one Mortal Kombat rep? Kinda contradicting.
Chun-Li doesn't rep much? Makes sense... that is why she in in, no?
I personally hate blood and gore. Perhaps consider to have an option to turn the blood off?
Also, just so you know, I never suggested Crash to replace Sub-Zero or whatever. IDK why we are discussing Mortal Kombat in the Crash suggestion thread, but whateva.

Hey, in the pokemon games(save for the console ones) all they do is move in the same position again and again and again! Should we use that to have nostalgia? And the Ice Climbers! They were 8-bit! We should make them 8-bit for nostalgia! Heck, we should change the Mario series logo to the old one! For nostaliga!
*facepalm* I mean, we already have Sukapon. He'd represent fighting games as well. If you don't think so, take him out, Joy Mech Fight wasn't received very well. Sides. YOU MUST BE SFW. Heavy blood is NSFW. Get your head straight.

CHUN-LI WAS IN BECAUSE FALCON8R IS BIASED FOR STREET FIGHTER. We would take her off the roster if we could. She IMO a waste of space.
Generic, I don't think you understand nostalgia. The Fatality is the prime of Mortal Kombat and the most well known mechanic to ever appear in traditional fighting games. It's viable for Smash Bros unlike the Pokemon in past generations only having 1 sprite. That doesn't have anything to do with this.
The next two sarcastic things you posted don't make any sense at all.
Sukapon represents a retro Nintendo game that was Japan-only. That is a representative that we need. Excluding Chun-Li, we have 4 fighting game characters on the roster.
This game doesn't have to be rated E or E-10+ or anything. It doesn't need a rating and there's no reason to pretend like we're getting one. Now go get your head straight before Sub-Zero rips yours off.

I wasn't complaining about the Fatality(unless it'd be NSFW). I was complaining about the BLOOD. I don't like Fulgore either. And why the heck do we need a japan only retro fighter? That has NO importance whatsoever. lol Except in the rules it says " SSBC strives to maintain a family-friendly site. You certainly have a fixation for "Nostalgia" don't you? Which is ironic, considering, I'm OLDER than you!
You want Nostalgia? Mortal Kombats 2 and 3 featured special "Fatalities" that went under different names. Making an original named one for a Final Smash would actually be MORE epic, and would actually make Mortal Kombat fans happier, as it shows that you haven't forgotten the special Fatalities, which numerous MK fans CLAMOR for. This would be an ironic case where something new and original would spark nostalgia of something older.
Or, there's Brutality (Which is in MK3.). Since Fatality actually kills an opponent in a fatal way (hence FATALity), Brutality would be better. Brutalties are brutal combos on the opponent that end in the opponent exploding. This seems more well suited for Smash, IMO. You can keep his freezing opponents to the bone this way, but it wouldn't kill them.

I think I understand that, Golden. Please don't attempt to educate ME about Mortal Kombat. The idea for Sub-Zero's Final Smash would be the ability to preform a regular Fatality, a Babality, an Animality, or a Friendship.

Oh, it does look like the FS i thought up is kinda like Wario Man from Brawl... except that Wario Man has greater speed increases (attacks, mostly), and can fly around the stage. Triple Aku Crash would not be able to fly, his speed increase would be his running speed (mostly), and he can damage opponents just by running into them.
Down Air is Body Slam/Belly Flop. Oh yeah. Dash attack is the slide attack. Oh yeah.
Oh, and I forget if Crusade has crawling, but if it does, Crash can crawl.
