Melee's not all that different either.   or:   The way I see it, they feel the logo for Super Smash Bros. from Brawl is perfect to use. As for Dairantou Smash Bros., DX and X have the same logo other than the giant X in X. |

Actually, every Smash logo always had something a bit different. The 64 version had this comic/anime style looking logo. Melee and Brawl looked similar, but there is a difference. The Melee logo are a bit far apart while the Brawl logo are somewhat pinned against one another.
Also, so everyone knows. Sakurai said on Twitter that he hasn't started anything at all as far as SSB4. He says that he hasn't came up with any plans other than what is already publicly said at E3 as well as interviews. He said he hasnt even came up with the choices for the roster.
With Sakurai's statement on Twitter, this really doesn't support this rumor of the documents as something legit.

There is also the possibility that HE hasn't started on something, but NINTENDO has. By getting some information down of decsions like what was shown on the paper. They don't need Sakurai for that.
So this is still 50/50 until the picture is confirmed to be a fake.

Ok, three things:
1. That old rumor has been confirmed a fake a while ago.
2. Do NOT double post.
3. As much as you will hate to hear this, Lucario is the Brawl Newcomer with the highest chances of being cut.

I do agree that Lucario has the highest chance of being cut.
Other character that I feel might get cut are Toon Link & Wolf.

Why the heck Wolf? IMO he has a higher chance of staying than Falco, who is less important to the series and is more of a clone.

Honestly, I'm not sure why but I have a bad feeling that Wolf won't be returning. The only character I want gone is Toon Link.

IIRC, Sakurai wanted Wolf from the beginning instead of Falco as Fox's clone, but because he seemed too much like a mere Fox recolor, he went with Falco instead.
That being said, I have doubts that either will be cut. Both are still relevant and "important" to the Star Fox series. (Falco being the ace pilot and Wolf being the rival)

plus Star Fox is worthy enough of 3 reps when you look at a roster of 45-50. And I doubt Falco & Wolf will get replaced by another Star Fox character. I don't see any other characters more important than Fox, Falco, & Wolf that can replace any of them.
But me, I think Krystal still has some chance of being in for some reason. Not as much as she used to but not out the question. This is just my opinion.

Krystal will prolly be an assist trophy. Or another trophy.
Unless the possible rumor of Star Fox Adventures 2 on the 3DS actually comes out, which I doubt, Krystal is very unlikely.
