@sk Giving it less lag, and a faster projectile. But that wouldn't work anyway.

I like using TL's bombs in Brawl, but I hate clones more than I like the bombs (I'm OK with the characters themselves. I just hate the cloned movesets they use).
So, my votes stays with the bombchu.

Then we have a lot of work to do. First would be getting rid of either boomerang or staff so they won't be cloned. We also need to change Mario/Luigi's dsmash, usmash, dair, nair, bair, dspecial, and uspecial. Following that should be a mixture of the following: Dsmash from Link and T. Link, Ryu and Chun Li's nspecial, Lucario and Mewtwo's nspecial, and Tails/Knuckles/Sonic spin dash.
I can't sprite, but I'm sure we can find people to get rid of all these cloned moves.

And the REAL problem is the fact that Toon Link has so much to work with, that his specials should not clone from Link's. We already have one similar special (Hero's Bow), and had three specials AND Final Smash that were different. Making Toon Link have two specials that are similar shows lack of creativity. EDIT: Also, being that the the poll is locked, this topic should be locked as well. |

If I had *my* say, he wouldn't use Bombchus OR Bombs. He would use Tingle Bombs! But that's me just being different, so yeah. It would be like a combination of the two! But I digress.
Between these two choices, I prefer the bombs from Brawl, but that's probably just because I'm used the bombs. I loved Bombchus in the LoZ games, though.

That would be true for most cases, but the thread was for finding people's imput over the matter and to explain their position or try to sway others into their position, and now that the poll is locked, the thread served it's purpose. This isn't the "Now that Bombs will replace Bombchus, how do you feel?" thread. This is the "Which do you want, Bombs or Bombchus?" thread. Now that majority voted Bombs, that should be it. |

I will probably lock the thread after the other devs and I make a call on which one we'll keep. The Bombs most likely will be in based on the poll, but things might just stay the way they are for the sake of uniqueness. I vote for Bombs.  |
