This is somewhat based on that fake leaked roster. I believe Magalor was the "Star Wizard" character, btw. This is a total of 48. Thoughts?

I'm quite fond of that css...
anyways, grading time.
1. Dixie. Should be with Diddy.
2. Magnus. Medusa is more popular and likely would be more unique.
3. Magolor. Really there's not much that's known about him to judge, but all we can see him as is a person who you help in the game. Like Zelda, I guess. Why not Bandana Dee, who we will be able to play as, has been in the series for a very long time, and is a very distinguished kirby character?
4. 48 is a rather obscure number IMO.
5. No second F-ZERO character. Black Shadow is heavily requested, Samurai Goroh has been in it a bunch of times. Not to mention he was one of the original 12.

I really wanted another retro Nintendo character that wasn't Little Mac (I included him anyways), so I added Takamaru rather than Black Shadow.

There are so many Kirby characters I could've chosen (Prince Fluff too), so I just picked the most recent. There's something about Magalor.

If I had 50, Black Shadow and Saki (or Isa) would've been my next choices. However, the CSS would be a little funny. I think it can follow the 36, I guess.

Roster is near solid. Just a few...."critcisms I have"....

inb4someonesaysinb4GYrants about Krystal.

1. Krystal. Why the **** is she on here? StarFox doesn't need 4 characters, especially not before Donkey Kong and Metroid. And seriously, Krystal? She is not deserving. Let me put it this way....James McCloud comes before her in the deserving sense.

2. Magolor. You have a big problem with not waiting until you know enough about a character before you consider them "deserving". As evidenced by you wanting to add Magnus and Ghirahim to Crusade before we can see what they can do.
Now, given that they both have significant roles (Ghirahim being a boss to fight, and being a major antagonist in the latest game, Magnus being a NPC (for what we know now) that fights along side Pit in some levels), it's fine to predict them for SSB4, but Magolor? He's literally done NOTHING at this point, except being the one you have to help out. I guess that makes Ribbon a good candidate as well, huh?
If it turns out that Magolor becomes a 5th playable character in Kirby's Return to Dreamland, or even, serves as a plot twist by being a villain like Marx did, THEN I can see him, but I still doubt his appearance anyway, due to already established Kirby characters to use, like Dark Matter, Prince Fluff, and Bandana Dee.

Oh, and BTW, "Star Wizard" was referring to Nightmare. He's known as the "Nightmare Wizard" and he shoots stars. Ergo, "Star Wizard".

3. Plusle and Minun: I don't have too much against them, except that they are added, while Mewtwo is not. Mewtwo is one of the most requested characters for Smash 4, and was only cut from Brawl due to time and Roster restraints.

4. Dixie Kong: Not her persay, but the fact that K. Rool is NOT here. K. Rool is one of the most requested characters for Smash 4, maybe being the MOST. He's heavily wanted worldwide, and is Japan's most wanted. Not only that, but he has more relevance than Dixie Kong. He was in more games, and served as a major villain (being the 2nd most recurring villain in the expanded Mario universe).
Now, there IS a way to have both Dixie AND K. Rool. Make Dixie a tag-team with Diddy. (And, like what I'm doing for my latest Roster, make it to where you can select them alone as well, like how you can select which Pokemon to start with from the Trainer or to start with Sheik instead of Zelda). That way, everyone wins. Dixie fans get Dixie (and can still be her WITHOUT Diddy), and K. Rool gets in as well. She just doesn't get a seperate spot on the Roster like K. Rool. AND, Diddy fans from Brawl DON'T have to be forced to play as Dixie.

Now, to nitpick on other stuff that isn't too major:

1. Waluigi: My only problem here is that even though he's next to Wario, he should STILL keep the Mushroom icon, as he's not a Wario character. He's as much a Wario character as Birdo is a Yoshi character. Reversely, if this poses a problem with a number of Mario reps, give Paper Mario his own icon to represent the Paper Mario series.

2. 3rd Mother character given certain situations:
Situations include:
1. Metroid only having two characters. (ZSS doesn't count)
2. Fire Emblem only having two characters. (FE is a bigger series than Mother, AND a character from a game Sakurai worked on (Caeda/Sheeda) sparked his interest.)
3. F-Zero still only having Falcon. (Mother and F-Zero were added into Smash at the same time. F-Zero is more well known, and features a heavy cast just WAITING to be playable.) Goroh or Shadow would be best here.

Had these situations not occur, I'd have no problem with this, as Claus is the most likely of Mother characters.

3. No Shulk: Xenoblade Chronicles is a single title that did exceptionally well in Japan and Europe, and is clamoured for in America. Not only that, but Monolith Soft is a 1st Party to Nintendo now. The company should have a character.

Other than these criticisms, I really like this roster. And the CSS character placement is reminicent of Melee's, which I like as well. Kudos.

Plusle & Minun: Why? They're not really important to the series except for the original Pokemon Ranger. For 3rd Gen, you could go with Deoxys. He's one of the most popular 3rd gen and most popular Pokemon overall.

Takamaru: He works for a classic character.

Also lack of second F-Zero character. Goroh would be good, possibly Black Shadow
