We have dark link and metal mario, why not dark samus?

I would say that Mario and Zelda series are more important than Metroid series,that's why.

Pokemon moreso I'd rather have it as a boss instead of a playable character Representation: Dark Samus would represent the Metroid Prime trilogy. MP2 was received from 90-95, and MP3 was received from 8.5-10. Although he wouldn't directly rep MP, he'd be the closest thing to it. and MP was received from 90-100 and received several rewards. 5. Viability: We have quite a few boss battles to work with. In addition, it'd be very easy to edit a different Samus sheet to make DS. No problems with playability. 5 Uniqueness: Dark Samus attacks with plasma and focuses on moving around to attack. Also, look at this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oalMqBisAuM . DS hardly fights like Samus. Their ONLY similarity is appearance and shooting. 4.5 Popularity: Although only appearing in 2 Metroid games, DS has become somewhat well known, and had a trophy in brawl and possibly a sticker. 4 5 +5 +4.5 +418.5 |

Dark Samus is already on the roster- just saying. Phantom has a cool way to unlock her...I'm saying this because I know.

Dark Samus has no confirmed gender and probably has none, DMX.
But yay, glad to know that~. I plan on maining DS. :3 Although that will make me main all the metroid reps

The representation, viability, etc is not the issue for me about D. Samus. It's the character itself I cant stand. Its literally a clone (not talking about Smash). I feel that the character is unoriginal and shouldn't have been in the more significant roles it was in.
This is one character I really hate, not pleased with Dark Samus on the roster. Though I dont plan to fight against it since the Metroid series lacks representation and character choices.
I would take Anthony Higgs and Adam Malkovich over this creep.
This is my thoughts of the character, obviously I dont support this choice.
By the way, why did Adam get removed from the roster again?

Yeah, I don't feel like Dark Samus would be different enough in playability, as in size, weight, etc. to be its own character, OR similar enough to be a boss like Metal Mario or Dark Link. But that's just me. It'd be an interesting story character, though.

Honestly, I would be fine with just Samus/ZSS & Ridley. Though I do feel that Metroid deserves more reps, but then the choices of characters are debatable and there are not really much to choose from, if not at all.
