I was giving Generic a simplified example. I know it isn't that simple. I've watched my friend make SF-style fighting games from scratch in GM, so I know it's complicated and bug-ridden for a while. If I could start learning now I would, but nobody can reach Falcon at the moment. It's good you know it isn't that simple (I think Falcon8 did quite a lot of scripts to simplify the making of new attacks, so it isn't that hard to add them). But you can start learning GM or even C without Crusade gmk by making some demos on your own. The knowledge will be quite useful later on. After reading this argument, im embarassed to call myself someone who is currently majoring in computer science. I'm that bad?

Falcon8r designed the Crusade enigne to be User Friendly. I've looked at it and it looks fairly easy to use. This will bring something very new to fan-gaming and could have a great impact on the Game Maker community and the Smash Bros. community.

It seems fairly straightforward to me, and I only know C++ and Java. However, for Falcon to do all that coding alone does say a lot about his skill and time investment.

I have my reasons why I want this to be open source but quickly putting them in words is harder than it seems.
