Melee like with a bit bigger emphasis on the story. I think Brawl had the most horrible world they could come up with.

I wouldn't mind an "Adventure Mode" like Melee, and also include a "Story Mode" like brawl.

I just think that somehow, the relationships between characters should be explained in Adventure Mode in a simple way. We know we are going to do a Melee-like Adventure, but I guess an extra "story" mode might be added if we still are interested after all that lol.

Well a crusade is, exert oneself continuously, vigorously, or obtrusively to gain an end or engage in a crusade for a certain cause or person. So a story mode would make the title have a bit more sense.

Yes, it would. I wish Phantom7 would get on, since he knows more about the original planned story for the game than I.
Basically, it had to do with the rebelling against the "growing up" that theoretically progresses throughout the Smash Bros. games. If you don't know about that, the theory is that Master Hand is a kid in SSB64, as he "plays" with what seem to be action figures of the characters in the game. In Melee, he's a bit older, as he now collects "trophies" of the characters and has a lot more of them. However, in Brawl, the SSE supposedly has a hidden backstory. Tabuu is supposed to be Master Hand's friend who wants him to "grow up" and stop playing with kids' toys (the trophies). At least, that's the theory I've heard... Sometimes I wonder if the whole thing isn't just a product of Master Hand's imagination.
Anyway, the Crusade story was sort of an alternate take on the Brawl one, at least originally. However, I'd like to make it more about the characters and their relationships, which could be explained in cut-scenes or dialogue intermittently during story/adventure mode. I don't really want to mess with the style of the Melee adventure, but I do want to add some meaning to it.

I wish for some dialoge stuff and unique storyline or special quotes for each character.
For example.
Falcon storyline:
Falcon finish the Machrider level and Machrider appears.
Dialoge starts.
Falcon: Ugh? Are you a F-Zero racer?
Machrider: Master hand said i have to defeat you to bring peace to my world!
"Falcon wins"
Falcon: Master hand is a lier. Im sure you can bring the peace to your broken world.
Machrider: ... "Or something"
Ness or Lucas passes the Pokemon Level and Mewtwo appears.
Mewtwo: Physic powers in a human? IMPOSIBLE!
Ness or Lucas: It looks i need to defeat you to continue my travel
Ness or Lucas wins
Mewtwo: What an incredible power, how?
Ness or Lucas: My will to protect humanity!
Goku passes Starfox level
Team Starfox
Falco: Whats the Scouter says about his Power Level
Fox: ITS OVER 9000!
Falco: What 9000!?
(Lol)
The basic idea is adding an interesting storyline to this mode

Two Special Fights with quotes For example. Falcon Adventure. Sonic Mach Rider Mewtwo Adventure Lucario Ness or Lucas "Or both" Link Adventure "Lol he cant talk" Dark Link Ganondorf "or other because Ganon isnt in the game" There are many dream matches but i can make a Full list if you want All this adventure mode stuff reminds me to kamen rider decade |
