Point is: Tiers R 4 Queers. But we are indeed getting off-topic.

I don't think there should be a poll for Pikachu's Back Air, if that's what you meant. I have decided to give it a slight boost in power. It's got a little more knockback and does 12% damage instead of 11%. Wheee.
As for Ike being cheap, that's lame, since I secondary Ike. I think Ike takes a lot of skill to play competitively.

About Ike, yes, that is true. I use him too. It's just the people who I meet in random online matches that make me put him in the cheap category. When I use Ike, it's all about Neutral Air and Down Throw.

Yep. Neutral Air is beastly. Nair -> Jab has sooo much damage. In SSBC, Ike will most likely be just as beastly.
Anyway, back to Pikachu. Not cheap in SSBC by any means, but I think he's still very solid. I don't consider him cheap in Brawl unless he's being played that way.

He isn't cheap! His Attack are fast(but not so good range).
Also his Skull Bash in Crusade is Uber! xD

Pikachu can go into mad combos with his forward Air. It does no knockback and hits many times. I usually follow that up with a grab.

It's a good grab setup since it's got a nice amount of stun, but not too much, so the grab still works. These kinds of shenanigans work well for characters like Pikachu and Toad. FYI: You can't grab opponents who are flinching (unless it's with Shake, Force Palm, Egg Lay, Stretch Grab, or Lucas's Zair.

Just compare pika's lag from Fair + grab frames and stun from Fair on opponent to see if it makes sense. I used that same technique in Brawl, but I can't remember in Crusade.
Also is there still grab armor in Crusade?

I'd LOVE to have that bair.
Also, I think Pikachu's final smash programming needs to be different. In Brawl, you couldn't move as freely around as you could in Crusade, and it was more in a loop like thing... It fits the thought of Pikachu being so powerful that some playstyle has to be different.

Hm? Pikachu would use up all his power within his attack, powering up, but can't turn cause then he'd lose some of his power. IDK. Its just that it should be more like Brawl, IMO.

Did no one even scan my post on the other thread? Disagreement or discussion I can handle, but I hate being ignored completely :/

I look at it this way. New B-air - Requires Spriting and recoding. Really Unnecessary, A move is a move. Change your playstyle to use it effectively. The One we have now - Doesn't need any changes except for the buffs and nerfs as the game progresses. Stop thinking of "Ourselves" Or the "Forum People". Ever think that a lot of people, OUTSIDE the forum like his new Bair? By the same logic there are people outside the forum that like his old Bair as well, that's no excuse. Also, I sincerely hope the general spirit of the devs is "We made the change now deal with it." I know it's their game, but player consideration makes sense to a point. (Don't gamers complain about that all the time?) I use the Bair all the time in brawl ( I main pika as well) mainly because of damage and because it is harder (read: near impossible) to SDI out of than Fair. It's mostly opinion though, you'll see ESAM us it quite a bit, but Anther never does. Yay, opinion from a Pika player! I have been messing around with Pika a bit, and it now seems to be one of his KO options. Not bad for a 7-frame move. The thing I ask myself is "Why would I use it?" In smash 64 Bair was a preferred kill move, but that was because Nair wasn't. Why would someone go for Bair if Nair does the same thing but in all directions? All in all, I vote for his old pikacopter (maybe the minus one) but ultimately it comes down to your willingness to code/sprite it. I meant this XD

Werekill and I talked about his Bair, and he's a Pika player in Brawl. He says that Pika needed some kind of fast KO move in the air, and SSBC's Bair fits the bill nicely. In 1.0, it's been buffed a bit, so it'll see more use, especially as a finisher.

But I also main Pika in brawl, and I don't understand how nair isn't a fast ko move in the air. My argument isn't that Crusade bair is bad, but that there's no advantage over nair. Besides, the argument that brawl bair has massive lag is rather silly since you can short hop the move and land without lag. If you lag while doing it, you're doing it wrong. Also, like fair, it's a little hard to DI out of (actually harder than fair) because Pika can still DI to chase mid-move. I actually think it was Anther that said "Pikachu love punishing characters for correct DI"

Not sure what really to say to that one. While Pikachu's Bair in Brawl was pretty good, and Nair being a pretty good KO move itself, SSBC's Bair is stronger, and it's a Bair, hitting behind Pikachu. Bottom line is, the Bair we currently have is going to stay, at least for now.

Lol, nair hits in all directions. I accept that it won't change, but that makes so little sense I couldn't let it go XD. It's like ZSS' fair and bair; one's a little better at killing but bairs advantage isn't really massive.
