You mean Dr. Mario? They were still different games. And obviously the Dr. Mario series didn't really catch on.
So yeah, I think fixing up the sprites will take an extremely long time. So it might be a while before I post any progress.

I beg to differ. It's one of Nintendo's most popular Puzzle series. But, on topic. I feel the eyes need to have a little more distance from each other.

MUGEN would actually be fine. I've seen some characters (Waluigi) on there whose moves can all be used through simple buttons, not the irritating move arrowkeys everywhere special moves. He could practically be controlled like smash, MUGEN is welcome to everyone. Minister would perfectly fit.

That would be cool. I'd say you need to resize the sprites to standard characters.

You can re-size characters by editing some numbers in a file. Not that hard, actually.

The resizing is easy. But 1. I don't know how to code in C, and 2. I still don't think his fighting style would fit. Especially the "7-button" system. And I meant it didn't catch on as much as normal Mario did. And as far as I know, there isn't an actual wii version besides Virtual Console. To be honest, I don't really play the mario games anymore. I'm definitely getting Mario Kart 3DS, and I'm thinking about getting Paper Mario 3DS, but that's about it.

You might want to pick up Fighter Factory to do that though, since it provides a nice interface.

mugenguild.com/bane84/ssbbkirby.htmlDetta, you might want to check this out. Its Kirby, but he plays EXACTLY like smash bros. You could use it as a guide. However, grab is shield plus a.

What do you mean? I just uploaded it to dA, copied the download link, and pasted it in an image tag here.

Oh, I see what the problem is now. The reason it looks blurry is because dA resized the preview to be 900 pixels wide. If you click on "Download Image", it should show you the full size image.
Also, you might want to hide that. I found it pretty easily.

Hm... I think dA converted it to a JPG then. That's what it downloaded as. Try uploading the file somewhere else. If all else fails, I can post it on my personal site.

Is the original file a .PNG? If so, you could just email the original file to Falcon or something like that. Try PMing me with the file as an attachment.

It's saved as a .PNG or .BMP or something like that, right? ...oh wait, huh. That's odd. I guess you can't. Maybe upload it to Rapidshare or something and PM me a link.
