You people shouldn't really be upset about Minister not getting in. Yeah, it is a shame that these sprites won't be used for Crusade, but instead of thinking of that, let's think on the bright side: - There is a full sheet now, allowing for Minister to be in things like sprite comics, sprite movies, animations, etc, considering that I think this is the only full sheet of Minister. - There are probably enough sprites here to create a MUGEN character, and that is definitely possible. - Minster could still end up as an Expansion character. In order: If you spent 4 months spriting Shantae then Phantom told you there was literally no way she'd be in the game, you'd be a bit upset too. I'm pretty sure this is literally the only existing sprite sheet of the Ancient Minister. And he'll be in a game when I get around to making it. It's sort of a prequel to SSE. I still have no idea what MUGEN is. Nobody but the devs actually knows what the definition of "Expansion Character" is.

I understand completely, and I'm sure you are upset.
MUGEN is a free customizable fighting game where you can make characters and stages for either yourself or put it up for the rest of the world to download and use in their MUGEN. Look up some videos if you're interested. The fighting system is kind of a clone of street fighter.

Actually, Generic just brought up a great point that I had entirely forgotten about: The Ancient Minister is NOT[/b][/u] R.O.B. The Ancient Minister is the Famicom Robot. The R.O.B. we'll have in the game is the Robotic Operating Buddy. Therefore, they are two different characters representing entirely different games in a mostly unrelated fashion. Falcon, you might want to remind Phantom of this fact. I feel like he'd probably get annoyed if I kept shooting off facts and possible reasons to him.

I sent a message with my opinion. Essentially, I said that the sprites just need work.

Yeah, I saw. But besides that, I guess it counts as support. Maybe I'll just expand the sprite sheet by two times and edit from there. I have to expand him by 4 times to get him to be the same size as other characters in screen shots, so it should make him look a bit nicer. Although when you consider characters like Krystal, well, they look like they could use a bit of sprucing up as well. Nonetheless, she's one of my mains.

That's like saying Bowser and King Koopa are different characters.

No, I was assuming you were talking about the king koopa from the animated show. He's just Koopa in the games, last time I checked.

It's either Koopa or King Koopa in Japan. Koopa's the more common one.

And so, with my point proven, now we're getting back on topic.
So Werekill suggested I improve the sprites. What do you guys think could use some improvement?

I think that the Minister should have 'summoning' sprites, as in sprites that play when he summons an Enemy R.O.B.

You mean in the forward smash and side special? That's sorta what the dust cloud is for. I took after naruto's shadow clones for that.

And AM,what is gonna happening?

Well, as far as Phantom is concerned, he's not gonna be in. Falcon and I are sort of still working on it, but I think the plan is to wait it out for a bit. Falcon thinks he'll soften up after a little while.

I want the AM to be in something... that's all. I still think an alternate form of ROB would be fine. Besides, a ROB fighting with kunai is fun.

I still think an alternate form of ROB would be fine. Even though Phantom thinks that it would "take away from the nostalgia of playing R.O.B."... Like I said earlier, the R.O.B. in Crusade and the Minister are TECHNICALLY different robots (don't pick up the argument again, Golden). And whether or not this fact is true, they're still representing different games. Oh yeah, and I took a look at MUGEN. I don't think he'd work. Or rather, I don't think I'd be able to make him work. The fighting styles would have to be completely different. Would anyone mind me setting up a couple poll threads in the spam board, since I can't change the poll here?
