but come-on, do you really expect to play as a giant hand that cannot even walk? He can totally walk. Well, a walking attack at least.

Well, how would you expect MH vs MH? [/rhetorical] Besides, I think he'd be too big anyways. But this isn't really the right place.

Well, how would you expect MH vs MH? [/rhetorical]I don't. You'd obviously play against Crazy Hand. But anyways...

Well, I'm not defending Master Hand (he's the main boss of the series), but the whole "no walking" deal is moot because of Mewtwo.
If we were to get a Smash representative, I would hope for either an original character that fits Smash more than SSF's original characters (Someone who fits in as much as the Minister does in Brawl), or a "Super" variation of one of the small frys (i.e. Polygon, Wire Frame, Alloy, Primid)
To be honest, though, if Yellow Alloy was given a unique moveset, I would take him.

Yellow Alloy? That's random, honestly. It's legit, though. I don't see any reason why making his moves work would be too difficult. In fact, the most difficult thing would probably be making his Up B, and still, there are other moves in the game that are editable to make it. And his Up Aerial will be interesting to make, but fun in the game.

I've seen that. He couldn't walk. He had different gameplay.

Please, guys, I try to get us back on topic, and you change the subject again. Master Hand isn't going to be playable, so it's whatever.
As for the AM, I am awaiting another reply from Phantom about him. He seems to be not-so-opposed to the idea of having AM so far.

I've seen it too. He looks impossible to use though. Anyways... On the topic of his up-b, it would practically be the same coding as R.O.B.'s except with a different sprite. What you could do is make it so that holding/pressing the button gives him an extra "jump", and there's a certain number of frames that the jump can be used repeatedly before you have none left. So mashing B and getting the most out of the move would get you, what, 20 small jumps? And then holding B would get you about half the distance because the jumps are overlapping each other. Then when B is released, give him the vertical boost of the last jump and let gravity kick in. EDIT: Ninja'd by falcon, I didn't expect that Well, that's good news, at least.

Is there anybody on the current roster you think would be suitable for removal? For being replaced my AM? Like a minor character....such as, per say, the original fourth kirby rep. Otherwise, you could try to just squeeze AM in by a button in R.O.B.

Well, if Adeleine was to be the fourth kirby rep, I'd certainly want her in. Um... Lemme think... Well, actually, I don't think Phantom would take anyone off the roster to fit the minister in. He already said that the characters currently on the roster "represent games better than the minister", so to speak. I think the only reason he'd take someone off the roster so the minister could fit in is if there was a character who would be near impossible to code, as is the case with the ice climbers, or if there was no way to get sprites or something like that. EDIT: Think the Gyromite stage gyro-might be done. I'll be right back with the blanks of the turnips and the animations of the smicks and the gyros. Here's the other stuff:

<looks at Gyromite> Yay!
And yeah, that's a good point. How about we just have 81 characters and get rid of the extra Random space?

Makes more sense. I don't really see why the extra random space is there. You could just put it on the bottom between the Player 2 and Player 3 things so it's easy to get to.
So yeah, Gyromite: Score is background, you can sky-KO. All horizontal platform-y things are solid, but the verticals on the left are background/passable. The Blue gyro at the top left makes the blue pipe move down when activated (by passing over it presumably), then when the gyro stops spinning, the pipe moves back up. Same with the red gyro for the red pipe. Smicks just move around, probably work like the koopas do in the mario bros stage. Turnips can be picked up and used as items, but have no effect on the smicks. Not sure if the dynomite should blow up or not. It would make for an interesting stage hazard. The pipes, along with being solid, probably do damage if they crush a player.
The stage should be the same resolution as the game, so it shouldn't zoom, just like the mario bros stage. I'll post a pic of what a character would look like in the stage in a bit.

Shouldn't you split the foreground and background into two different images?

Yeah, I'm gonna do that next. Well, one with the movable objects gone and such, and another with other stuff. But in the mean time: And oh look, the background and foreground have been separated:

Bumping with some news: Yeah, Phantom's seriously, and I mean seriously opposed to having the Ancient Minister in Crusade, and that's a pretty big roadblock. So the Minister isn't going to hit v1.0, cause he doesn't look like he's going to hit anything but the pile of rejected characters. So yeah, that's about it. Neither me nor Falcon can figure out any way to persuade Phantom, so it looks like it's ending here. Sorry to anyone who, like me, really wanted a chance to play him in Crusade. At least we'll have R.O.B. and a Gyromite Stage (if he doesn't kill that idea too, which he'd better not).

Persistent, much, Phantom? Pretty much EVEREHBODEH here wants him in. 99%. Just because 1 person (who I believe isn't the head poncho: that's Falcon) is opposed, he doesn't get in? The sprites here are complete. Hours and hours of work gone to waste? Sir, I am quite upset at you. I'm going to leave this thread without a second glance at the foolishness of this remark.

Well, I think at one point he said that it's not just the forum who gets influence, since it's not just the forum members that play the game. I'm not really sure who the head honcho is, since neither of them have really claimed to be such (although most people would say that Phantom is). Not gone to waste, I get them for my personal use as well, which means that I can actually start some stuff on Robotto Monogatari. If I ever get around to it. So yeah. I'm gonna get Werekill's input on this, since he's a member of the team too.

You people shouldn't really be upset about Minister not getting in. Yeah, it is a shame that these sprites won't be used for Crusade, but instead of thinking of that, let's think on the bright side: - There is a full sheet now, allowing for Minister to be in things like sprite comics, sprite movies, animations, etc, considering that I think this is the only full sheet of Minister. - There are probably enough sprites here to create a MUGEN character, and that is definitely possible. - Minster could still end up as an Expansion character.

It could also be used as an SSF2 expansion character, if Detta approves? If so, I call it.
