However...he encounters sky enemies way above his level. Back to the marketplace. He sees a person offering goods.

E. Adam, the man states "Supplies of all kinds here at Randall's Random Rations! All you need to purchase is here in this store!"
El Maiz, you continue to run. You reach the end of the field, and are greeted by a beautiful view of the Randomountains, the largest mountain range on Ranterra.

E. Adam, the shopkeeper states that Rare Candies are not good for your health, so he does not keep them in supply.
Sumikaptain Falcon, you find yourself in a town called Trandroma, on the southeastern coast of Ranterra. You heard an explosion, and can see smoke billowing from the City of Random.
Now I'm gonna close today's session. Make sure to check back tomorrow.

And on the dice note, I don't think I fully explained how the dice work... Combat rolls (and most rolls involving any action) are made with a d100 (two d10s, one is used as the 10s place, one as the 1s place). Damage rolls are made with one or more d6s, depending on what you or the opponent got hit with. Initiative rolls (used for determining who goes first in a battle and such) are made with a d20.
High rolls are better in this game, as El Maiz saw when he kicked butt getting a 99 and then a 90. 99 is the max for the d100, 0 is the lowest. 20 is the highest on a d20, 1 is the lowest. 6 is the highest on a d6, 1 is the lowest. That's about it. And you're all working towards a common goal, by the way. Nobody wants to be bored.

So wait. How do you determine if we hit or miss, or things like that?

K, Phantom... I'm assuming you're basing yourself off that character in your art thread?
EDIT: @sumika: Determined by dice roll. Generally, a 40 or below on a d100 constitutes a miss, but it really depends on what you're doing. Below a 10 is a fail, and a 0 is a critical fumble, which essentially means you fail in the worst way possible.

abilities, let's see. how about he can regenerate limbs and he can transform to his dark side for more strength and speed. his inventory, he carries a variety of very large weapons (I don't know where he hides them) his gaint sword Darkness, his trident King Neptune, a spear adorned with angel feathers Guenevere. If you want to just limit him to his sword that works perfect also.

K, the updated version:
Phantom -Character: Humanoid wrapped in bandages from head to toe, wears a brown jacket, black/grey pants and brown boots. -Ability(ies): Regeneration of limbs, able to transform into a "Dark Side" that give him increased strength and speed. -Weapon: Sword resembling Cloud's Buster Sword from FFVII, backside is saw-toothed. -Level: 1 -EXP: 0/100 to level up to level 2 Stats: -Attack: 15. Level up: 2 +3 modifier for physical attacks and a massive sword -Defense: 17. Level up: 2 -Sp. Attack: 11. Level up: 3 -Sp. Defense: 11. Level up: 2 -Speed: 14. Level up: 3 -1 modifier for having a massive sword -Hit Points: 43. Level up: 4 -Inventory: Darkness (sword), King Neptune (trident), Guenevere (spear adorned with angel feathers). -Money: 0
About to be added to the OP. I'll let you have the multiple weapons cause you reminded me of Haseo (.hack//G.U.) when you said he has multiple weapons but you don't know where he hides them. Haseo just puts his hands behind his back and, with a flash of light, can pull out a variety of weapons ranging from twin blades to great swords to scythes.
