I have a question for Phantom... What made you want to redo the roster? Had you not thought the old one was good?

I can answer that and its very simple. Like most rosters, its hard to finalize one with all the choices you have, especially for a 80 character roster. And it also relies on keeping up with most recent and recurring characters.

Why don't we do a Character Interview? I'm not forcing, but I think it'd be awsome for the SSBC characters to answer the questions rather than the Devs, yeah?

I think Phantom and all of the devs are never going to be 100% satisfied with the roster, but we'll try to find a medium between the fans' and our own ideas for the roster. I personally like the new roster a lot more.

Didn't some1 say there was gonna be some characters edited, the new kinds of characters (not new characters, but the old 1s which some would be edited). Can you list them all, I may have some advice or ideas. Oh, and maybe replace some of the pics because they are old 1s.

Also forgot to ask if catching items was added. I think it'd be useful. Also to save posting in two threads, I was wondering why Snake's grenade pull is like Link's bomb (instead of the hold button then release to throw from Brawl). I think Brawl's would give more control. I just realized that he also can't shield drop them. And do they still blow up if he's attacked in shield while holding them? I'm... curious *cue ominous music*

I'm... curious *cue ominous music* I think implementing it like a regular item makes more sense. When I used Snake in Brawl I almost always shield-dropped them and then threw them with A. And no, you can't attack Snake's grenade while it's being held. I might add that in, we'll see.

But that's the thing: in Crusade you can neither shield drop nor throw down when you're grounded. So the only way to get a grenade where you are is to jump up then throw down. Then you have to hope it doesn't glitch and get stuck to you. :/ As for the holding thing, I'm just saying it gives the user more more options. More user options in coding = bad but more user options in games = good.
Also the catching items thing would just be for tech skill, I guess
