I got a very interesting question I would like a developer to answer. Here it is
With SSB4 soon to begin development. When any newcomers are announced, and if they are not in the Crusade roster, will they be added into Crusade due to their debut on SSB4?

Very good point. But some of our Crusade suggested characters MIGHT end up being in SSB4.

I'll answer these questions: SSB4 may or may not change the roster. It sure would be a shame to not have some of the newcomers (unless they're all already in Crusade), but it's a fan game, you know? We'll do what we want until we're satisfied.
Oh, the name Crusade? Well, it was that or Super Smash Bros. Maul, since those were the 2 games we fused together (Phantom and I originally had 2 different Smash Bros. projects). We stuck with Crusade because there was a little ring in the name and no one had used SSBC before (Unless there's a Super Smash Bros. Clash somewhere). We could've used anything, but Crusade really opened up opportunity for a cool atmosphere for the game.

The name also had something to do with the story, but I'm not sure what... :/
As for meeting expectations, I hope you'll be pleasantly surprised by the changes in our new demo! That's all I will say.

Exactly why was Toon Link called Young Link, instead of the former?
