Every so often, there becomes a major event-the mewtwo sprites, Geno's hate of Rosalina, the wiki trollers. I a person from here didn't see it, they'd ask about it.
This topic is here to explain what happened the other day.
Nighty had just sent out a PM to everyone saying the new 10char rule.
About saying things like "Ok............" was bad, it broke the 10char rule.
Her guess is that Koopa thought it was sent to only him, and he probably thought he was going to get infracted.
And he probably thought infractions were complete bans.
So out of madness, he went Damon Gant and started spamzing the whole place up.
Several posts said "You may ban me from the forum, but you can't ban me from the *bleep*ing wiki! He repeated this over and over, and a few posts involved him telling me, and I believe Falcon, we were A.H.'s. Not only did he break the spamzing law, but he also somehow broke the 10char rule and the trolling rule.
Later, he started saying something very, VERY unusual....Love me! Love me! Love me!
It was creepy.
Then, he made a topic against me; for whatever reason he did that, I was not sure. I had not even replied exactly to him that day!
He stated that we needed to get me out, and as a result, Nighty banned him.
However...
he then went to the wiki. He said: "Ha ha! I spammed the whole forum! Ban me if you must, I *bleep*ing dare you! Then he started saying the love me thing."
The next day (today), he said: "HEY! Who the *bleep* removed my *bleep*!" over and over again. However, he also banned me, and apparently some other people like Detta, and put an annoying new announcement: "Da Generic Name is banned out of the *bleep*ing wiki! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Thankfully, Daw removed the comments and the announcement, banned him for a month, then Jankin came on and banned him for a year, and unbanned everyone.
Quite an atrocity, eh? Why he blamed me, went Damon Gant, started swearing unusually, and pratically asked to be banned is beyond my comprehension.
His sayings still ring in my ears...

I say that we should move to a new wiki. If one guy can just get mad and ban everyone, there's something wrong with the system.
There should be a better way to approve people to make articles other than making them admins.

Theres nothing bad about the System.
Thats Wikipedia,everyone can edit it.
Just got an Idea.I will unadmin Koopa and Lock all pages that aren't locked.

This is indeed very, VERY weird. What the heck happened Koopa? :s
I never really expected that this would happen. I still doubt he is an adult. :/
And if he really is, then Im sorry for him. u.u
I don't think the mail was the reason for making him go crazy.......but I can't really think of another reason. And no idea why he wen't against Generic.

Yes yes, And you can bet if this every happens again, on the forum, I'll try my best to get it handled as quickly as I can. And I'm sorry I couldn't get this under control a little faster.
What's done is done. In a while, I'll unban him, see if he makes dumb posts, and use my judgement from there. As for why he went loony? I have really no clue. Just guesses.

I've noticed a pattern since joining the forum: once a month, a member (sometimes multiple) goes crazy, starts rampaging, and ends up being banned. January, Felipe was banned and there was a power struggle with DMX. February, Red lost control of himself. Now, Kooparaider's gone totally crazy and ended up being banned from the forum and the wiki. Odd, isn't it?

lol. I remember my power struggle...
He's been doing this? I've only seen 2 of his posts like this and just now heard about it. Thing is, this new forum has been Spam-free since it started. It would've been nice if it said that that message was sent to all members of the forum. It made we wonder if I did something wrong too.

It doesn't matter either way if anyone has done it in the past or was great at it. Karma is supposed to be a judge for how well you've followed. What really matters after that message is that it doesn't happen and not that it did happen.

I just downloaded Smash Rumble the other day. I believe he said that he had worked for it, but when I checked the credits section there was no Kooparaider, or Luigi man as I believe EWJim once called him. Speaking of which, EWJim once got pretty upset at him for presumably "stalking" him. I'd like to see what he thinks about this... |

Also on the topic of moving to the new wiki, we should just make it so articles can only be made and changed by admins and only promote a small number of trustworthy people to admin status. Or have only ONE admin, and then have people send in pages they write for the admin to create.
Something like that. My point is that we should just be more strict about the current wiki than having to move to a new one.
DaW is the ADMIN admin, right?

You know, we could make a subsection of the forum like a wiki. It might be a bit confusing, but then the people who have authority now still have it, only users can make pages and comment, and the admins are the only ones who can change the OP to make changes.

Been doing research: Apparently, his name is Bob Smith. How generic. ...  Aaaand now we know he not only lives in NJ, but in Newark. :/ So yeah, he was banned. You had it coming Luigiman. For the following things: *You tell other people not to spam, so you can become a mod, yet you do so yourself *You make double accounts for mods to ban, and for you to report *You tried framing Yoshi Gamer by taking advantage of every bad account in site, and making your own as well *You report everyone in sight for the slightest reasons *You call everyone spammers, but look at your comments on Smash Bros Rumble *"Hege Alert!" Somebody thought he was a lost kid with a lot of time on his hands. EDIT: Also tried to friend every single person... And 7 months ago Luigiman12 commented on the member cdg777 Let's report this guy. That will shut him up. coincedence...eh? |
