You say Goroh would have acrobatics. I laugh at the idea of a portly, realistic man being acrobatic. Cartoonish fat men like Wario, I can see being acrobatic (and Wario HAS), but realistic fat men like Goroh, I can't picture.
And because Goroh has been in ONE more game than BS make him better? So why not Pico or Dr. Stewart? Anyways, BS is the Joker to Captain Falcon's Batman.
I wouldn't mind seeing Goroh, in fact, I would LOVE him in, but not before BS. If it were up to me, I'd have both included. Also, it's a lot more difficult to come up with a moveset for Goroh than BS (still lol).

@ Golden
look at 3:35 in this video
Black Shadow is not his greatest enemy, Goroh is. Black Shadow is just the final boss of the series, but Goroh has long storied history with Falcon. Not to mention that Goroh has been the 2nd most popular FZero character and he appeared in 2-3 Smash Bros games. And all Black Shadow had was 1 trophy while Goroh had more than that.
I would also take them both in if it were up to me, but I think Goroh is the better choice.

Goroh is his greatest RIVAL, but BS (I can't stop loling at this...) is his greatest ENEMY. And no, BS isn't the final boss; Deathborn is.
And you can't go by Trophies. Otherwise, Diddy Kong wouldn't be worthy as he didn't have one in Melee. As for Goroh, he had one in Melee because he was in the original F-Zero. The only one from that game that didn't get a Trophy in Melee was Pico, and instead, Jody Summer got one.

riiight forgot about Deathborn.
I also forgot to mention his appearance as an assist trophy as well as his appearance in the opening of Melee, adding on to his trophies and stickers. But yea, you make a point about Diddy though. But still, even though he was not a playable character, he was still a visual representative for the F Zero series in Smash Bros.
And he has been most requested rep to be playable for Smash.
Honestly, I see BS as the 3rd most recognized F Zero rep after Goroh and Falcon.

ALL OF YOUR ARGUMENTS ARE TOTAL BS. [/end great pun] Captain Fabulous should be the only F-Zero rep besides Captain Falcon. JK. There isn't an either option. Wasn't Goroh cut from the roster? I don't know if they'd put him back on if they already cut him once.

We actually wanted to cut him for Black Shadow or Deathborn. And no, the final boss still isn't Deathborn. It is the Creators! www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNRZiN0fv5YHere's the evilness of BS. I see a special move! ;D

By Golden's logic, we should have Eggman instead of Shadow.
Also, Blood Falcon is clearly the only choice.

Who's to say both can't be in? Both Eggman and Shadow have done enough to warrant a spot.

Honestly, with a roster of 80 characters, I think we should have both goroh and black shadow in crusade. Nothing wrong with that.
Plus why would anyone suggest deathbourn? He barely has a fanbase to begin with

I think you made a respectable argument, smashking201, so I am sad to see people disrespecting it... Anyway, I honestly have trouble choosing. Either way I look at it, it would be awesome to have either character in the game. Goroh is C. Falcon's self-proclaimed rival bounty hunter and the leader of a gang of bandits. He's more of an anti-hero than a villain. He fights with only a katana, making him unavoidably similar to some other Smashers in his swordplay, but, he's fairly large for a sword character and certainly looks different from the others. I can see Goroh as being a powerful melee fighter. The only problem is that for move variety, we'll basically have to come up with Goroh-themed sword and melee attacks. Black Shadow is the recurring major villain of the F-Zero series. He and Falcon have a storied rivalry as well, but it isn't as apparent as Goroh's rivalry. Black Shadow is out to win the big bucks using whatever means necessary, even if it means torching the competition using mines or upgraded machines. He's also known to have some superhuman powers, as he was able to create Blood Falcon (with his evil genius?) and possesses high physical strength. Those things said, Black Shadow could actually have a variety of moves at his disposal. It would not be hard to come up with a moveset for him, but it would have to be distinctly Black Shadow, or else it would be quite boring. The way I see this decision is that Goroh would prbably be the safer choice, but Black Shadow could be a more fun character if we implemented both equally well. Bah. Maybe both should be in the game.

falcon8r, thanks. and I agree that both would be good choices since they both play a important role in the series. both of them playable would be the most popular choice, but agree that Goroh is a safer choice. As far as Goroh's issues with his moveset. I think its best we review most of his appearances in the series and look at the smallest details possible to make him a moveset. It can work. For example, the video I posted up earlier before, he is performing multiple backflips as he was issuing a challenge to Falcon. Those backflips can be used as his Up B attack with a combo up diagonal attack. And also, he can possibly use the guns his gang of bandits were armed with. If anything, maybe my idea of the Sting Ray Punch could work for him

Goroh is a safer choice, but we could pull another Waluigi (no one was exactly sure about this character, but it worked) and take the risk for Black Shadow. He could be really unique. He would have to use his horns! Even though there are 80 characters on the roster, it's a really tight fit. We would lose another character on the roster if we had both. And sadly, there are many characters who were ranked higher than them- especially unlockables.

Saying that Samurai Goroh couldn't bring much is probably what the developers thought when someone suggested Captain Falcon for Smash.

Nah. They took someone's moveset from their prototype, Dragon King: The Fighting Game, and pasted it on Falcon.

-Dr.MarioX-Though you taken the risk with Waluigi and succeeded, it doesnt mean it will work again. At least with Goroh we can come up with a good move here or there that would be fitting for him. I think Goroh is a safer and better choice.

*coughBlackShadowhasmoretoworkwithcough*
Oh, and to counter El Maiz's take on "my logic": That is not a good comparison; Shadow had his own game in the series, while Eggman did not. Neither Goroh or BS had their own game.
So of course Shadow would be in before Eggman.
