How much do our users agree with the roster?

4. He's pretty dang cool. A robot in a cloak that can fire lasers, summon Shadow Bugs, Primids, and the R.O.B. Squad to assist him in fighting, and uses the equivalent of a nuclear weapon as his final smash? Heck yes. You can't bring opinions into this. And with the things you said he could do, they were done as a MADE-UP moveset. The only things Ancient Minster has done out of all that is fire a laser (when he was being revealed as R.O.B.), and order other R.O.B.s to use the Subspace Bomb. He has NOT summoned Shadow Bugs, Primids, and technically the R.O.B.s. The R.O.B.s were already with him.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

That's not smash-original though, it's ORIGINAL original. Did a smaller version of Master Hand ever appear in any of the smash titles? No. And that glitch hardly proves him as playable. Sure, in the sense of you have the ability to play as him, but you can't receive knockback, for one. What's half the gameplay in smash? Knocking your opponent off the stage.

Yes, you don't fight him directly. I suppose you have a point there.

I'd like to remind you of the alternate costume idea.

And he has summoned Shadow Bugs.
(Watch in 720p if you can; it's a lot easier to see. Generic made the mistake of seeing the ground as shadow bugs in 360p)

0:54. Just look at that army that just came out of nowhere.

And Primids form from Shadow Bugs, so if he can summon Shadow Bugs he can then make Primids out of them.
Also, since the Shadow Bugs can copy shapes and abilities, it's not that outlandish to say that he could make fully-functional R.O.B.s out of them as well.

Anyways, I don't think turning this into a thread about why or why not the Minister should be in would make Phantom happy. Shall we continue this on the suggestion-board thread?

Not to rain on your parade, Det, but if you look carefully, you can see a bunch of sediment along the ground right before it zooms in to the minister.
He then glides over the sediment which happen to be bugs which transform into primids.
So he can't summon the bugs, just turn them into enemies, if I saw correctly.

How's that sediment looking, Generic?

Oh yeah. On the topic of that one section of my last post, I think it should be clarified that the Ancient Minister should NOT be a separate character from R.O.B., but an alternate form or outfit much like Ryu/Evil Ryu. This would conserve roster space, because we all know that's an issue.
Also, if you bring up that "it'll ruin R.O.B.'s nostalgia" point again I'll just redirect you to a couple facts.

You guys are making this game mainly for those born in 1988? R.O.B. came out with Gyromite and Stack-Up in 1985 in Japan. You'd need people who are way out of this demographic to feel any nostalgia with R.O.B. besides playing him in Mario Kart DS or in Brawl.
