Am I the only one who loves rival trainer and Zant?
Though I do agree that Ballon fighter is far more important than Aero as well as that paper mario and dark samus are completely unneccesary.

I originally thought that rival trainer would be cool, but when we have better people like Deoxys and Meowth, it'd be better without Rival Trainer. But he'd be good as an expnasion.
I like Zant.

I like Dark Samus, like said before, but Sylux would still be better.

Deoxys is debatable, but I don't think that meowth is capable to compare to rival trainer. Gengar, scizor and Agron are even individually(spelling...) more unique than meowth.
The only thing he has going for him is that he was planned to be included in 64, but do we really need another 1st gen rep?

I think Deoxys would be better than the Rival Trainer, though, but that's just me.
and we need a 2nd gen rep.

That doesn't stop it from knowing the moves. Togetic can learn both moves, and if it evolves, so will Togekiss.
I think Togekiss would be a cool fighter, but yeah, we have a ton of pokemon reps.

How about hoppip or it's evolution? It would be a strategic character, using drain moves, synthesis, stat modifiers and the like.

Rival represents 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation.
Meowth represents 1st and a bit of the anime.
