Knuckles may be strong, but he's one of the powerhouse characters Crusade has seen before. Anyone else have anything to say about him?

I don't really like his playstyle.

He used to be one of my mains until the introduction of Krystal and the others came into Crusade. I have to agree, he is a powerhouse since he depends heavily on power instead of speed. Stone fists is one of his greatest example of a power-based move.

I think Knuckles is a good blend of power and speed. Kinda like putting Sonic and C. Falcon into a blender, and voila! Knuckles.
He's got some great KO moves in his USmash, Side Smash (although it's slow), DSmash, Fair (for edgeguarding), and Glide Attack. I can't seem to land the Side Smash consistently, do you guys know any setups?

ITs hard for me to not glide; its hard to control therefore.
For me, his down smash only works behind him.

Side smash as in Stone Fists? If that's the case, all I ever do is either throw the huge boulder at an opponent and then smash them out, or I grab them and throw them down and then use Stone Fists. His glide is like one of his finishers when the opponent's health is at cautious level. His up aerial seems to come in handy as well.

Cautious? Lol, I think I know what you mean. It's not uber-strong, but it works at high percents.
Yeah, I guess DThrow -> SSmash would work well if the opponent wasn't expecting it.

Also, anyone remember the first demo? One of Knuckles' attacks was throwing the Green Chaos Emerald? I still play the first demo, just to laugh at the old Knuckles.

Dettadeus is right, Generic.
The first demo sucks.
The buttons to control the character are all over the keyboard,
Glitches up the Wazoo,
No Smash attacks (as far as I know)
No Ledge Grabbing,
List goes on.
BUT, it is fun to see how bad it was. Especially Knuckles. A laugh and a half, he was.

That demo.. Ugh. We learned a lot from that experience. Haha.
There WERE Smash attacks, but you could only do them with the Smash button. No grabs though.
I kinda wish we had never uploaded the old one. Haha.
