I think Melee may be one of the best video games ever made. It was probably the best game on Gamecube. (Wind Waker might beat it)

I disagree with the people who say they don't like Melee, OR that say Melee is better than brawl...
IMO, I've seen NO difference between the engine of Melee and Brawl.
Just that Brawl has way moar stuff.
Also, Melee has cheap, super-call-you-a-n00b techniques that are just plain stooopid.

Except for the fact that in Melee, if you are Captain Falcon and you fall off the edge, you die.
And that you cannot play Melee casually.

In terms of slowness (from slowest to fastest): 1. 64 2. Brawl 3. Melee |

I currently play 64 whit the Melee cheat so C.Falcon have the Knee! lol Epic!

Yayz! I spent something like 3 hours playing Melee last night, and I'm finally back to maining Pichu! I actually managed to beat a level 9 Fox. Which is near impossible as Pichu. Basically, my attacks go like this: U-throw > U-air juggle for a ton of damage > end juggle with a n-air > continue until opponent is at 90% > D-throw > Up-Smash > death. This works on pretty much every character as Pichu. Luckily I'm out of the habit of using his electric attacks besides Thunder, Quick Attack and Skull Bash. And jeez, a fully charged skull bash can do 39-41 damage.  |

Melee >>64>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Brawl
In fact, 64 is the only game of the saga who have 0 to death combos on almost every character , thats why i putted brawl so far away from 64, if you want to see 64 videos search on youtube for Alpha, Danny SSB, isai, Zen yore or Prince, you will find some interesting videos.

I played Melee last night, actually. I've gotten pretty rusty smash bros.-wise, as my Brawl has been broken for months now. It was fun to play as Pikachu again.

I just played a bit of Brawl recently and want to get back into it. Melee's like riding a bike for me - I played it for almost 8 years straight, so I'm not going to forget how to play it anytime soon.  Mains? Mine's Samus. |

I hated DK in melee, but in Brawl I mained him, cause he could charge up his punch, trap opponents with his headbutt, then watch them fly away. In melee, sadly, you can't do that ):
...please tell me the DK in crusade can do the same.

I don't go into all the technical stuff, I'm a casual player.
That's why I'm always left confused when you guys talk about "hitlag, startup lag, hitstun, l-canceling, wavedashing, etc".... I'm just like,
