...Shadow? You mean Shadow the Hedgehog? Rayman and Shadow aren't 4th Party. This is the 4th party discussion. And I wouldn't have Boba Fett before Vader anyways.

@nights: And I would agree with you. IF this were an official Smash Bros., but because it's not, this is a chance to do things that'll never be done officially. (Already, with the excess 3rd Party characters and Goku, as well as the excess Mario characters, that process has begun)
I mean, a second 4th Party was PLANNED, but cut. Why not have a second 4th Party like we were going to have (and don't say "because it's mixing non-video game sources")
You honestly don't seem that open-minded, Nights.
If you hate the likes of the Marvel vs. Capcom series, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Mortal Kombat vs. DC (although that one, I could understand. It wasn't that great of an idea). Super Robot Taisen, or Kingdom Hearts (although, I don't like it either) just because it mixes sources from games with sources from non-games, then there really is a problem.
It's like the people that hated the idea of chocolate and peanut butter before Resee's came out, and even the one's that hate the idea now, even though it's been done numerous times by other brands.

I'm part sided here. If you hate the likes of the Marvel vs. Capcom series She DID, on the other forums thread for that, say she didn't like it. But heck, that's the ideas of crossovers. Which smash is one. But yet, I don't want anime in here either. Yet I'd like Vader. Its confusing. Just better to have no other anime character, IMO. @el: The poll was IF we have a character. Not "We're having another anime character, which would you choose?" If that was the question, I'd decline, like you. EDIT: Just thought about a good "Other": Meowth. Not only would he have moves from pokemon, he'd also have moves from the anime, like using TR mechs, his TV voice, and I don't think anybody would complain about him. |

Meowth counts as 1st Party. Even if he has TR moves, he's still 1st Party.

I think that's quite a good reason. That's another stupid reason. By that logic, Mewtwo should never be in Smash Bros. again. Or Frank West shouldn't be in MvC3. They cut the idea, because they figured Goku was enough. However, there's this thread asking if there WAS to be another one, who should it be? And it SHOULD be one from the series that was CUT. Though I prefer Homer. |

The cut 4th Party was Anakin Skywalker and I requested his appearance then. Falcon8r requested Goku. Phantom doesn't say much about 4th Party characters, but he says that Scott Pilgrim would be the most reasonable choice for another 4th. Though, it seems that Vader is highly accepted.
Anyone think any Marvel or DC characters could work?
