Felipe, he said "when he comes out", meaning after 1.0 comes out officially.
I also recall him saying I could have something like a testing thread there. So you guys could get snippets of info about new characters, and I could pre-develop some metagame for them. Stuff like that.
BRoomers wouldn't be that privileged.

At that, I'd like to request that the ranking list thing stays out of the back room.
The back room is supposed to be for competitive things, right?
I'm pretty sure the CPU stuff ain't competetive.

It would have to be based on things that the CPU has no effect on, like mobility, range, power, etc.

Yes, I thought that was a given....Everything in the coming BR will be completely fresh....I have yet to see something in this forum that will be used by the Back Room aside from peoples findings in character threads, such as AT's or effective strategies, and even those topics are severely lacking in substance

i doubt that. Detta seems to have a very good shot, Werekill not just for being a dev, but actually knows what he is talking about. I'm sure there are others as well who can talk competitive, they just don't do it here because, as seen in this thread and occasional others, you can't talk competitive with casual players (the majority of players are casual).

I really like the direction of the Bomberman Matchup Thread. Hopefully the back room can start some smaller discussions of the same vein.

The BR certainly will discuss match up's, but something like an actual MU chart wouldn't come around until the more important things were finished

Of course, tier list and metagame development will come first. There's been some talk about changing the style of play by increasing game speed. THAT will definitely need to be a group effort!
