Petey Pirhana and Rosalina represent the same game series, Mario, so they'd both get 5s.
Petey Pirhana is in more Mario games than Rosalina, so he'd get a higher score than her.
Petey Pirhana is also more unique. We don't have any heavyweight walking plants, yet we have a few princesses with magical powers.
They have pretty much equal amounts of moves, and it wouldn't be hard to sprite either since they both have bases.

I'm not complaining about Rosalina or anything.
I'm just putting this out there.

Petey may have been in more games, but Rosalina represents Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 (Yes, 2). Those are two of the best games of all time according to scores.

Rosalina may be a magic princess, but she is really the controller of the cosmos. Besides, Rosalina's ahead in sprites...

And also, I checked the reviews for SMG and SMG2.
They are extremely similar to Super Mario Sunshine, the game Petey would be most likely to represent.

And really, she's basically this spacy sci-fi princess. OK, so there haven't been exactly any spacy characters, but it basically runs down to magic.

And again, I am not complaining about Rosalina. Nor am I saying Petey should replace her, though I'd perfer that.

And really, I'm preeeety sure you have some sprites from the old demo, before the new engine.

I was talking specifically SPACY characters, as you said there were none. Hence why I bolded and underlined that part. So no Zelda characters, Mother characters or Black Mage.
AND, I already said Metroid characters. Ridley and Dark Samus are Metroid characters.
Robots do NOT automatically mean space. Sukapon, R.O.B. and Megaman do not count as spacy characters.
Aura, telekinesis, and ghosts are not magic, anyway, so Lucario, Mewtwo, and Gengar don't count. Deoxys would count if he was in...
Kirby is NOT an alien in game canon. And most of his adventures DON'T take place in space.
Saki does fight in space a lot (from what I know, so he counts)
Goku, despite being a Saiyan, I'm not so reluctant to count. He lives as an Earthling, and looks just like one. And most of his battles are on Earth, not in outer space or another planet. He's a maybe.
Geno is a Star Being, so he counts.
Shadow is another maybe. Yes, he was made with Black Doom's DNA, but that's a fact that many people forget. Not only that, but he's usually not in space. It's like Mario; he's been in space quite a few times, but it's not his main area. Shadow is a big maybe, like Goku.
Ristar is another spacy character. I forgot about him...

yeah Mario was awesome but was rosaline she was barly in the game i beat bowser then quit
i found out about rosaline being in galaxy 2 after someone here on this forum told me

That was when she was an EXPANSION.
And I never DIDN'T want Petey.
And at the same time, unlike what you're not seeing for some reason, I'M NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT ROSALNA.


And at the same time. I didn't really like SMG or SMG2. The style of gameplay-as in the orbit thing-wasn't really my cup of tea. Not like my opinion counts, though.
