Notable Changes

1.Toad (+8)
Toad is actually an amazing character. Toad is like Toon Link in many areas: They are both small, fast, have powerful attacks with high priority (their special moves included) and have great recovery. His Down B has very high priority and difficult to punish and his reliable kill moves are actually fast. Toad's air game is one of the best due to having great jumps, great air speed (one of the best in the game), great aerials and a spike (though hard to land, is still powerful).

Just curious, what do the numbers mean, and why do you call it a tier list when it it's a ranking one?
And did you rank them by CPU usage or Player usage?

The numbers indicate decrease (-), increase (+) or stayed in the same spot (0).

Ristar went down by 2 spots DGN.

And i used both methods.

What's the difference between a "Tier list" and a "Rankings" List?

Tier List is a list of how well characters fare in tourneys are according to the players metagame. Rankings has to do with a tier list but not entirely. Ranking's are the results of a character faring in a tourney. Example:

1.DGN - Ristar
2.Zeldasmash - Link
3.ZYzzYVA - Toad
4.Falcon8r - Ryu

Thats a ranking list.

I believe it was how people use them competitively.
This is just how good the characters are i particular.

So why the heck did Ristar go up?

Ristar went DOWN DGN. Ristar was 8. Ristar is now 10 (-2)

Toad and Toon Link are better than Ristar. Toad and Toon Link are almost exactly the same in gameplay due to their very similar tactics. Ristar decreased because he IS GOOD but Toon Link and Toad are slightly better.

The thing is Knuckles is predictable. Predictability + Very poor range + very slow attacks = Fail

Looks very good. I'm a bit irked that Jigglypuff fell so far, but I know she's going to rise(ing pound) in the next version.

I'm mostly in agreement here. Relatively speaking of course. I think that Bomberman is highly overrated though, even if he is a very strong character. It's also interesting to me that Mario, the all-around character of the game, ended up being exactly middle of the list.

The only thing Bomberman has, IMO, is an INSANELY powerful final smash, and only the CPU can execute it properly.

Glad T. Link went up. Sad Jiggs went down, but that's exactly what should happen. I still think Bomberman is overrated.
