Oops. Forgot to look at things missing. K. Rool is a must, as for the others, I don't find them necessary. 'Specially not a second Kid Icarus character.

Sin and Punishment was Very Popular on VC. Sin and Punishment 2 was Received VERY well and sold pretty damn well too. So I dont know about it being completely rubbish for one of them to get in. Not to mention he's popular in Japan too. Which is something Isaac lacks. I understand Kid Icarus, but Meowth? He has nothing to get in, aside from popularity from just being in the anime. Heck, Eevee probably has a better chance than him(only non-legendary other than pikachu that's in japan's top 10 favorite pokemon).

I personally agree with all of this, but it rarely irks me that much too complain about. I'll leave that to the big fish. Like Golden.

Where the heck is K.Rool. Honestly, DK looks good without him. I mean I've kept him in and stuff. But you've got the idle and his buddy with his girlfriend. K. Rool is cool and all but the RPG-Side of Mario is very unrepresented and Paper Mario seems like the right way to go.Where the heck is Saki/Isa. Golden Sun could use one more because they actually need oneWhere the heck is a second Kid Icarus rep. Not needed, despite the fact that it might happenWhere the heck is Meowth's replacement. Still going strong with Meowth, might swap him out in time though.Responses Please do remember that this my Personal Roster. So it may not be up to scale with your own.

UPDATED ONCE MORE This roster does not contain the extensive fighters. It has some changes, the biggest one is seen in the second row. May the complaints begin. With pleasure. 1. No K. Rool: He is one of the most reguested characters (THE most in Japan) for Smash 4. Donkey Kong is Nintendo's 4th biggest series, so it having less characters than StarFox is insulting (Dixie doesn't count). You say that Mario RPGs need representation, but Donkey Kong deserves it more. Also, if ANYTHING non-Platform Mario series get representation, it will be the sports titles/Mario Kart, due to being a vast quantity of them, and most of them being top sellers. (Mario Kart Wii having more sales than the Galaxy titles, IIRC.) But even then, K. Rool deserves it more. Way more than ANOTHER Mario. 2. Meowth: Has a snowball's chance in Hell. ESPECIALLY given that what he's known for all these years (Member of the Team Rocket trio) is no longer applied. To those who don't know: *SPOILERS*Meowth was fired from Team Rocket, and is now with Ash and co.*END SPOILERS* So yeah, the main reason people wanted him in the first place, doesn't exist anymore. Like how Venom won't get into Marvel vs. Capcom 3 because he isn't Eddie Brock anymore. Also, to have him, when there's still Mewtwo, who is heavily requested WORLDWIDE to return to Smash is a big spit to the face. I mean, I could understand if Jigglypuff was gone, due to her losing popularity Pokemon-wise AND Smash-wise, but Mewtwo still has great popularity in both senses. 3. Bomberman: If Konami is given a 2nd character, Sega must be given one for balance. And don't give me the "He's a Hudson Soft character DESPITE Hudson Soft being dead and Bomberman being property of Konami now". That's like saying Banjo-Kazooie count as Nintendo characters, DESPITE being owned by Microsoft now. And if you REALLY needed a 3rd Party character that crossed over with Nintendo games, there is still Black Mage and Slime, who crossed over with Mario on more than one occasion. Bomberman only crossed paths with Wario once.

Good to know about Meowth. I watched one episode of B/W and felt my childhood shattered. So have I shunned Pokemon now. BUT NOT TO GET ON A TANGENT! I didn't see Bomberman. No second 3rd party reps. What Golden said.

What Golden said. It happened JUST recently, like, two episodes ago in Japan. So for a while, you'll still see him doing what he *used to do* best.

Bomberman only crossed paths with Wario once. 1. No K. Rool: King K. Rool is indeed, the most requested character in Japan. However, even though Donkey Kong is Nintendo's 4th Popular series, (Also did anyone else know that this is the 30th anniversary of Donkey Kong?), but the days of Donkey Kong Country are long behind us, and his last appearence was on Super Mario Sluggers for the Wii. Now being old doesn't hurt his chances, but Mario the lead franchise, has a lot of spin-offs as well. One of the more prominant is the RPG Series, the Sports and Mario Kart ones are easy enough for the Mario and Mario Spin-Off characters to represent, after all. Every single one of these characters has appeared in a Mario Sports and Mario Kart game. All of the characters represents those titles all on there own. The RPG Series is different though, the only actual RPG Series Mario and Luigi can represent is the Mario and Luigi series for the Handhelds. Paper Mario is a completely different situation, where as every character is flat. Which would also be a unique addition to Smash Bros to double on the G&W Factor, Seeing as Diddy and Dixie are following the Ice Climber similarity, and Toon Zelda and Tetra for Zelda / Sheik. 2. Meowth: I've stated many times before. MEOWTH IS A FILLER CHARACTER FOR NOW! His replacement is still being decided. But I'm dissapointed that Meowth was fired, but I'm more then sure he'll end up with Team Rocket again sooner or later, James and Jessie won't survive without him. 3. Bomberman: Now I don't have much of an argument, my only option to calm this one down is either remove Bomberman or swap him out with Snake.

Why do you insist on keeping him filler when we have MEWTWO and LUCARIO and heck even PLUSLE & MINUN to replace?

Well, maybe not Plusle & Minun. They are even less important than Meowth.

Why do you insist on keeping him filler when we have MEWTWO and LUCARIO and heck even PLUSLE & MINUN to replace? Because I still have to decide between Victini and Zoroark, if Vicitini makes it in, Lucario might be in, if Zoroark stays in then I keep Mewtwo.

So why don't you have Mewtwo with you right now...? DrSlavic: Not only were they planned for SSBB, but the VERY high chance of a R/S/E remake justifies them getting in. Not to mention it could make another Ice Climbers-style character OR add a gimmick of making them have combined moves(i.e.nair has them stick their heads to both sides as a headbutt, down smash plusle lights the floor with electricity and minun jumps to both sides). Which is part of how Sakurai gets characters into brawl(adds something new to the game).

"pra_mai" isn't enough to justify it, as it could easily mean something completely different.

Ok, I will grade them by row. 8. The RPG Row: ... Roy's not in, and instead you have Porky. My gripes with that. 1. Mother should NOT have more characters than Fire Emblem. EVER. 2. Roy is a Melee veteran, and you brought back PICHU (who wasn't planned for Brawl) but not Roy (who WAS). Also, Roy is HEAVILY wanted to return by fans worldwide, and practically DEBUTED in Smash, thereby giving Smash it's own character. Also, of the Mother characters, Masked Man is the most requested, and would have the biggest shot over Porky.Things I like in bold (though I probably should have done it the other way around before it was too late. Also this may not be up to date). I just hope nobody's arguing over this. After all, this is a speculation roster and whoever gets in Smash 4 is anyone's guess (even though some are obvious like the 12 from the first Smash). At least, that's what I think.

It could be possible that the Pra_Mai coding could be something else, but didn't you say before that the codings were indeed character data? If that's the case, then if it its not Plusle & Minun, then it must be someone else that we were'nt expecting if im correct.

I never said it for sure was. I said it was commonly BELIEVED to be.
But one thing that got me. If it is indeed them, why use the Romanized versions of their names? Lucario wasn't "Rukario" in the data, nor was Mewtwo "Myuutsu". So why would Plusle be "Purasle" and Minun be "Mainun"?

Its romanized? I didnt know. But very good question.
Also, In cause no one is aware, September is Zoroark month and Pokemon & Toys R Us are promoting this Pokemon. Just go to IGN for more details. The point of this statement is that I feel that Pokemon is quite not ready to give up on Zoroark. They seem to really want to push him. I think Zoroark might stand a better chance than Victini. After all, SSB4 should start development by Oct-Nov

Hmm...that is interesting. Zoroark is being pushed by Pokemon USA. Vicitni is being pushed by Pokemon Japan.
While Pokemon Japan has a bit of a "home country" bonus for Smash, it seems USA is doing more to push Zoroark to help even the odds.
Sakurai might also see Zoroark's body frame to be easier to work with, as well as it's Illusion ability to offer a unique style. Then again, Victini's body frame is also easy to work with, and being a Psychokinetic AND Pyrokinetic is unique in itself.
Hmm....Now I don't know who has the bigger shot....
