This has been floating in my head for awhile. I'm starting to think maybe Ryu, Chun-Li, and Evil Ryu each have one too many Final Smashes. It's really not fair, considering that there are many other characters in the game that deserve this (If Chun-Li gets 2, Mario should get like 30 Final Smashes) and it would be too much work to give each character two Final Smashes.

(just for the record, I actually started approving Chun-Li. I mean, after some research, it appears that SF has a LOT of well-received games...IMO they should replace Zero for a Megaman X to make room..)

I have to agree.
But as long as Evil Ryu keeps the Shin Goku Satsu (Raging Demon) all's fine.

The problem is that Ryu, Evil Ryu, and Chun-Li (ESPECIALLY Chun-Li) don't deserve second Final Smashes if no one else gets them- especially other important characters (Mario, Link, Donkey Kong).
Besides, I think Falcon is using them for something else...

Besides, I think Falcon is using them for something else... IMO, the ones that should stay: Ryu: Shin Shoryuken. It's his signature finishing move, IIRC. Evil Ryu: Shin Goku Satsu (Raging Demon). It's VERY iconic to ER and Akuma. Chun-Li: Hoyokusen. IDK, just seems more suited for this IMO. |

You be quiet.In any case, it's sort of a gimmick for them, and is "reminiscent of the ability to select one of two Ultras in SF", to use Phantom's words. Also, there's the "already in the game" part. |

If that's the case, should Mario and Luigi be able to receive all of their power-ups? Why can't DK and Diddy call all of their animal friends to ride on?

You wanna make everyone important have multiple final Smashes, DMX? Be our guest.
It just makes sense for the Street Fighter Characters to have different super attacks like in Street Fighter.
You can ruin that specialness if you want by giving everyone multiple final smashes, but I don't think its a good idea.

If it makes sense for Street Fighter, it makes sense for anyone. Mario had many power-ups, Kirby had many super abilities (such as Mic and UFO), Pokemon have TONS of powerful moves (Giga Impact and Hyper Beam), etc.

Street Fighter Reps should be the only ones to have 2 Final Smashes, because it does represent that they have different special attacks.

Kirby Reps should be the only ones to have 2 Final Smashes, because it does represent that they have different special attacks. cwutididthar? And really. It makes no sense for a 3rd party series; at that, a 3rd party series with a secondary rep to have 2 final smashes each. ESPECIALLY for an alt. |

Can't we just leave it how it is, currently? Nobody complained about it before, what's the big deal if we just leave the Final Smashes the way they are?
