No, he never said that. Or implied it. Try reading what he said again. Nevermind. I doubt you read very carefully in the first place.

I did and that's what he said. And you're not him, so you don't know what he was saying. I doubt you even read his post.

How the crap could I be accurately responding if I didn't read his post?
And you're not him, so you don't know what he was saying.

This has to be the most off-topic thread I have seen in a while.
Back on topic
Aero the Acro-Bat would be a 3rd party character, representing Iguana Ent. If there were to be a rep for this franchise company, I would say Turok.

I had that game. I don't recall playing it though.
I think Blaster Master was the most popular of them. I'd like to play as S.O.P.H.I.A., even though I never played the game. Who WOULDN'T want to play as a tank that could crawl along every single wall? It'd be quite unique.

Turok is the most recurring series in the Iguana franchise.

*watches video* Uh...I don't really think that guy would fit in the game...
FYI to other people, he had a N64 game.

Yea he may not be fitting for the Smash games, but he would be the best choice for an Iguana Ent. rep. But the company itself is no longer around and is not really a major company itself, so why bother getting a rep for them.
Also, if Nights and Aero were in Crusade, who you think would win in an epic battle between the two with the moveset made for them thus far?

Well, the best choice for a sunsoft rep, IMO, is Blaster Master. He's unique, has many abilities, and I believe is one of the first games to make a drastic change in gameplay.
I think NiGHTS would win. I made him a bit overpowered, XD

Is it just me or did Aero just lost another vote and Nights just gained one? Seriously cause I forgot how many votes they both actually had the last time I looked

Seeing as both NiGHTS and Aero are not going to be in, this should be done.

I honestly am very excited about the new characters! You guys may or may not have figured them out....
And yeah, Ristar is staying in.

No one wanted Ristar removed. No one seemed to want to read Golden's posts.

You're saying that it's all about representation. Ristar has other qualities that make him Smash-worthy. James Bond's representation doesn't even make sense to compare with Ristar's- Bond is not a true video game character. Humor me, like what? What makes him truly Smash-worthy? In all honesty it isn't a case of "Smash-worthy", but "Crusade-worthy", as characters like Ristar and Mach Rider will never be in an official Smash. And before anybody says anything, I AM NOT SAYING TO REMOVE RISTAR.

Mach Rider could've been in Melee. I could see that working very well.

Not "could have"
He said "will", and he's right.
Mach rider could have been in Melee, but as time goes on, less people who play Smash know him.

Mach Rider could've been in Melee. I could see that working very well. Says you. From what the sources say, Mach Rider was CONSIDERED, as well as other old NES icons (That were eventually beaten by the Ice Climbers), but he and Excitebiker were disqualified for the same reason: He couldn't picture them off their bikes. A BS reason, but a reason nontheless on why Mach Rider will never be in an official Smash.

I have read the same thing, but what I read was a bit different. The 5 most suggested choices were the ice climbers, balloon fighter, mach rider, excitebiker, and one of the two urban champion fighters.
Balloon fighter was turned down cause sakurai couldnt picture a character using only balloon, which clearly dont inflict damage in reality and saw no fighting potetial in him due to that.
Mach rider and excitebiker were turned down cause sakurai couldnt figure out a way to make them jump
And urban champion was turned down due to the fact that they did nothing more than punch. By the way, this is nintendo's first fighting game, not sukapon's Joy Mech Fight
In conclusion, this is what lead to ice climbers being playable according to the sources I read
