Just look around you.
Flame wars between fans and devs.
Pointless suggestions, according to the devs who could easily get rid of the board at any time.
Some people are feeling they're like Hitler.
Aside from Falcon, the devs hate us.
They say they're not biased, but we are. That's why Gengar, Aggron, and Scizor clearly deserve 100s.
Anyways...
I don't really know what to say.
Just thought I'd post this.

I didn't say I thought they were Hitler, I said they shouldn't have complete control over DLC, and having complete control... well, that reminds me of Hitler. kthnx

The problem is that the devs and fans can't get along on the same forums. Here's a possibility Phantom and I brought up:
We delete all the forums (except for the back-room and announcements section) and make an official website for the game only edited by Falcon8r, Phantom7, and I. You guys could go make a fan forum as we post official updates and easy links on the new website coded by Phantom himself.
Thoughts?
Edit by Phantom: I never considered this an actual "possibility". My words were more like: "the flame wars and ridiculous suggestions here are beginning to lead me to think that we shouldn't even have this community if it continues for too long." And the possibility of creating a website has nothing to do with me saying this; I'm planning to attempt that no matter what happens with this community.
I sincerely apologize that Doc consistently takes words out of my mouth and posts ludicrous announcements, complaints, and responses.

The funny thing is that they can't delete the forum unless they get into my account somehow. Don't worry guys, this forum isn't going away.

There was an unrelated "heated argument" about Wavedashing on the Melee thread, but Nights already took care of that, I think. But does that change the fact that the game is great? Heck no. You don't choose not to play a Smash game because you think Sakurai was an idiot for making Kirby.
And we wouldn't be having these problems if you listened to the fans more often. Specifically DMX and Phantom.

One opinion, my friend. Another, namely mine, is that the forums give fans a chance to talk about the game itself and generally have a fun little community.
Some suggestions may be a bit bad (imo), but hey, you've gotta take the good with the bad.
