Me neither. But I do like your idea Doc. I'm sure you and Phantom talked with falcon8r about this. After all, I really want to see SSBC open-source.

So in all honesty, it'll be more like Balanced Brawl is to Brawl. Unless you do plan on changing the metagame. Well, in a way, yes. But it will also have minimal, beneficial changes, like re-implementing most of the useful techniques from Melee too, (and any extra ones P:M has) and enhance those that are already there, such as the current wavedash. The wavedash that we have right now is pretty much useless except for looking fancy, that is going to be fixed.

So pretty much, add exploits found in Melee's engine. Pass.

There will be some changes to characters too, Like Link getting his Melee boomerang back. Lolgeneric, you're a competitive hater. Plus, Competitive > Casual.

There will be some changes to characters too, Like Link getting his Melee boomerang back. Options. Hidden Skills is one of the most unique moves in the game. And this is coming from the people who gave Megaman an uppercut as an up special, called Sky Uppercut "Crow Bite", and retained most of the JUS moves for Mach Rider. Reason being is that people obsess over it. *looks at Sebastian* *looks at Felipe* Heck, I wanted to play the Tales series. But the obsessors repelled me. No. Competitive WOULD equal casual, if it weren't for the obsessors.

This whole situation is becoming too confusing. I would like to hear from falcon.

Thats mostly opinion. I find competitive gaming too stressful, I like to play video games to forget about everything for a while and enjoy myself.
Edit: Ninja'd by Smashking and Generic. lol

I'm in between when it comes to competative and casual. Sometimes I like to play for fun and sometimes I want to compete. Anyways, this isn't the place to discuss this.
What I want to know is the direction we are going here. Will it be open source or are we going with project C?

Sorry if i sound harsh, but Dr Mariox and Phantom havent done a s*** about coding. Falcon88 is the only one who can decide if the project is going open source. Programmer>>>>>Spriter>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Generic Menu Design and Bad Artwork (YEAH, i am talking about Phantom, by far the more useless person on the project)

Honestly, felipe, I think you might be. Not saying this in an offensive way, but you tend to slow things down. Programming, Spriting, and Design is all balanced.

All this talk of the Programmer and the fact that Falcon has been missing makes me think of this particular line:

@smashking: Project C will happen if the game goes open source. Or if Falcon agrees with the others that they need to move on to other things but doesn't want it to be open source, he can just hand the game off to Project: C. Minus the harsh tone, I agree fully with Felipe said. Odd, huh? DGN: If you don't be careful I will punish you. You've gotten bad enough as is, but if you start to fall further I'm going to take action.

I think making Crusade open-source would be great. We could also create a section, maybe, where people can put their characters, stages, etc. as add-ons to the game so everyone can benefit.

Lol. Golden, he edited it 3 minutes before you made that post. Before, it said this:
How convenient that I hadn't closed that tab. He's also being annoying with a number of other things.
Also:
Um. I doubt it. I don't think you know why CrusaDashing doesn't work like Wavedashing. Horizontal momentum is set to 0 when you hit the ground after being in the air, IIRC. Therefore you don't slide from air-dodges. I don't remember the specifics, but I do remember Falcon mentioning it had to do with how horizontal momentum is calculated after a collision with the ground, as well as the traction with the ground being higher.
AND WE ARE TOTALLY NOT HAVING A COMPETITIVE VS CASUAL ARGUMENT HERE. YOU CAN PLAY GAMES BOTH WAYS, NEITHER IS MORE RIGHT OR MORE WRONG. I MEAN REALLY.

I think this is why Phantom and I are losing interest.
It's Smash Bros- the one thing video gamers cannot agree on. Yet, it is one of the most fun fighters ever made.
