i wanted to hear what everyone has to say about him [mostly the devs]
if he is in i want him to be unlockables and another form of Mario's
to unlock him you have to beat up sonic,knuckles,and tails in a match
or beat classic with said characters
i picked those character cuz of how there blue,red , and yellow which are the colors of the virus in the Dr. Mario games and because IMO im sure thats why Nintendo made the virus that colors was cuz of them since they are from sega and Nintendo used to be sega's rival

I don't think he has much of a chance anymore, but I'd like him in as an expansion at least.
I was planning on making him an expansion, but I never really got to work on that.

I could do a re-colour of SSBC's Mario to Doc.
And then put him in DLC.

Great idea man. I would love to see Dr. Mario fight again.
Although, I'm not concerned with beating Classic on Intense with Mario would work. Maybe beat Classic on Normal or Hard with Mario would be better?

event match? to fight dr.mario and unlock him

Uhh....red, blue, and yellow were chosen because they are the Primary colors. It had nothing to do with Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles.
Especially considering that Tails was ORANGE at the time.

As much as Dr Mario was my main in Melee, Im still not a fan of having alternate form characters having different roster slots. I think Dr Mario should be an alternate like Evil Ryu and Ryu sharing the same slot

That's possible, and very much doable at the moment. If he doesn't take up extra space on the roster, sure. We just need the sprites, etc. and the OK's from everybody on the dev team.

NOT UNTIL Dr. Mario is in the game. Not to sound mean, but I really am tired of letting out unofficial news.
And he will need to be like Melee (lighting instead of fire and stuff) and he needs to be recolored and edited. Meaning he needs the coat that's not tucked in and what not.

Could've sworn I made a moveset somewhere...
Normal Special is Pill
Up special is where he spins his stethescope like a propeller
vSpecial is throwing a virus, yellows do electricity, red's do fire, blues do normal, and the tornado is now down smash,
>special is undecided
Final Smash is where he makes the level a game from Dr. Mario where Player tags go above pills, then Doc has to find a match of pills over the color that the player tag is.

His special moves should be no different than Mario's. Final Smash could just be pills falling from the sky. And on the sprite, you got the color of Doc's jeans wrong. Look at Melee's art.
