Well, Mariox was hard (almost like me XDDDDDDDD) but he was right in some points (not in others). Sometimes i read the forums and i found some Ridicolous suggestion Like Havind Du Hunt as playable character o-o

As well as that new Trainer named Rival Trainer, with Gary MotherF***ing Oak that had Gengar, Scizor, and Aggron. That was the most outragrous requ-OWAIT.

For the record, I disagree with DMX, for the most part. I DO think that a lot of suggestions are silly, but I try my best to at least come up with logical reasons. :/
By the way guys, chill out a bit. You may have been hyper-offended by his post, but that's no excuse for some of this ****. Just chill, and everything should work itself out.
I'm not infracting anybody yet because you guys deserved a bit of grace for the last few posts, but make sure you're a little bit calmer from this point onwards.

I think it would be good to get the differences between the devs and the fans worked out. To me, it just seems you want the thread locked so you don't have to answer our questions. Thing like this wouldn't happen so often if you and Phantom properly replied to us (Phantom simply more often, his replies are usually very good). However, you choose to just ignore the questions, and that obviously isn't getting you anywhere good. I could understand that Phantom may be busy with AP exams as Werekill has said, but you don't have them and now come on the forum often. I really don't see why it's so difficult to answer a question or two.

Cant believe how far this so called war has gone. This is ridiculous. Speaking of ridiculous, I disagree with a few of doc's statements. Not an attack, just my thoughts and some facts, so no need for anyone to get offended.
First off, age has nothing to do with what generation of games you grew up playing. I could have been born in 2000, but would have still grown up playing the original NES rather than SNES or the 64. Its possible that console would have appealed to me more than the current or later consoles during that time. So age is just a number. Example, I personally didnt start playing video games till 1995 (i was 7), yet my first console was the original NES. Remember that console had came out 11 years ago by the time I got it and this was during the time when SNES was on its last leg and the 64 was in development. With your statement, you are saying just cause of my age and year I started playing video games that I know nothing about the original NES.
Second, you cant really say most or all the ideas suggested on this forum are ridiculous. Characters like Ratchet, Duckhunt Dog, Minister, etc. are not ridiculous cause they are video game characters in the end of the day. And this is a fan game based off a video game. Sure there have been poor suggestions like King Boo, but its not ridiculous, just a poor rep. Picking choices like Mickey Mouse, Spongebob, Micheal Jordan are ridiculous ideas, thankfully no one has suggested ideas like that. My point is that if its a gaming character then its not ridiculous.
Third, how can you say that this fan game was made without any help outside the dev team? Some of the sprites in the game came from spriters outside the dev team. Sprites that were borrowed and edited. Plus we have forum users here who are currently spriting future characters for this roster. Also, many ideas have came from the fans. Not to mention that it was the fans who critique the game on its errors and gave in their inputs for improvements. If you have not gotten any response for opinions or suggestions from the fans, then I highly doubt you would be putting as much work, effort, and time into this game or even continue to make it at all. You even have fans that are willing to actually get physically involved in this project and help make sprites. Now im not saying the fans should take like 75% credit or anything, but the fans defiantly had a big influence to this game physically and virbally.
And last, to say that fans are not smart is not a way to win over anyone, though im sure those are not your intensions. That is like saying we are stupid for having an opinion. Now im not as pissed off as the rest of these guys cause I know that an opinion cant be stupid and that statement of yours has no facts what so ever. And what makes you right and us wrong if your just a fan of the smash bros game like the rest of us? Your no different from the rest of us. And if the fans are not smart, then why are you asking and taking our suggestions in the first place? If someone is taking suggestions and ideas from a group of un-intelligent people, wouldnt that make you as stupid as the rest of us? Again your no different. Calling us "not smart" is the same as you calling yourself the same thing cause again your no different.
Remember, my intentions are not to flame anyone dmx, im only speaking real.
