Now, let me explain:
Last night (until about 1 am), Phantom, Falcon, and I were talking about Zoroark and trying to talk Phantom into bringing him back. He said it's likely if we take out any Pokemon Trainers that will be in the game.
We soon said "What if there were no Trainers? Who would we have?". I suggested Gengar, Zoroark, or Charizard as stand alone characters. Phantom didn't want to go past six Pokemon (who knows why), but I thinking no limit here.
So here's what I want to know: Which of these 3 would you like to see as the next Pokemon?

Gengar and Scizor are two of the most Popular Pokemon not only for competetive gamers, but also in general.
No doubt I'd like to see them in the game somewhere. At least Scizor. Maybe instead of Gold Trainer, have Scizor, but keep Brawl's Pkmn Trainer?
Zoroark should be stand-alone for sure, though.
Maybe make Scizor alone a seperate option? He's like a Heavy Metal ninja.

Where'd you get the idea for Gen, Sciz, and Dragonite? I voted Squirt, Ivy, and Charizard, Zoroark(alone), and Gold Trainer. 'Sides, it'd make no sense to take out Pokemon Trainer.

He DOES realize that Brawl doesn't count Squirtle, Ivysaur, or Charizard seperate, right? Why should Crusade?
And even if they DO count seperately, Pokemon will have less than Mario (Barring a second Trainer).
And anyways, we JUST now made it to where all Brawl veterans are in with the Ice Climbers. Why tamper with that?

Voted for Zoroark, Pokemon Trainer (Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard) and Gold Trainer (Chikorita, Quilava, Feraligatr). I commend you and Falcon for trying to accomplish this and bringing one of the most requested characters back on the roster. *Exalts*

I still don't understand why. I think that a 2nd trainer is too much trouble. Just making one alone is too much of a mission. Plus a 2nd trainer is not necessary. Why not just have Pichu (as Pikachu's alt) rep the 2nd gen? It is a whole lot easier for spriting and programming, doesn't require taking any character out of the roster, leaves a space for another newcomer, and puts this debate to rest.
I voted Pokemon Trainer (Brawl) and Zoroark. I wish Meowth was on this poll then I would have voted him also.

This was exactly what I expected. If I can say anything, Zoroark is back.

Zoroark should almost definitely be a standalone. She's too... I dunno, too human to be part of a trainer character. I never see Zoroark as just a Pokemon. I've always seen Zoroark as a Pokemon with human aspects, and human intelligence.

Woot, Zoroark is back! I hope you didn't have to make any dumb bad decisions to bring her back though...

Question is who got the axe in order for Zoroark to come back? Zero & Morrigan are the only 2 reasonable ones if you ask me.

God I hope the Gold Trainer is gone. I see no reason for a 2nd trainer.

I think you guys are talking about Rival, not Gold Trainer.

I came up with a better idea than any Rival Trainer. This implies Gold Trainer replaced Rival.

No, Gold Pokemon Trainer replaced Rival Pokemon Trainer. (crosses fingers hoping that both of them are cut)

I think Pichu alone best represents the 2nd gen and is a Smash vet. There is tons of benefits by going with Pichu.

Pichu should be an ALT.
